Luke gives us his version of Jesus appearing to the Disciples in His resurrected body.  He asked for food and He broke bread with them just as He did before going to the cross.  We must be careful not to let our unbelief close our minds to what God is trying to open our minds to receive. The testimony of Jesus is unstoppable.  Herod couldn’t kill Him.  Caiphus couldn’t silence Him.  Satan couldn’t tempt Him.  Death couldn’t smother Him.  Pharisees couldn’t stand Him.  Pilate couldn’t fault Him.  Grave couldn’t hold Him.  Dry bones answer to Him. It is the Palm Sunday.  We are in Holy Week.  So much occurred during this week in the life of Christ and all who were witnesses to the events.  We could look at this day from many different perspectives.  We can look at this from the disciples’ point of view, perspective of those who heard of the miracle worker, or those who have witnessed the miracles.  But what about the perspective of the donk...

Why do we celebrate Easter?  Is it a day on our calendar?  Is it a day that shook the whole world for generations to come? Much Agape, Shan, the Recovery Pastor

We are slammed with information constantly.  It is hard to research everything to see if it is fact or not.  God is pressing on my heart to treat information like it is a keto serving of learning.  Get rid of the over processed stuff and go back to the foundational level of receiving knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 warns us that pride will put our focus on our flesh instead of our hearts being focused on God. The enemy will try to distort reality in order to trick us into a prison of guilt, shame and fear. We must check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Much Agape, Shan, the Recovery Pastor

Do you sometimes feel as if Jesus is saying HEY, DID YOU HEAR ME?  As I look around the world, it seems as if we are a bunch of children that are not listening and do not see the repercussions we are about to face for our own actions. Much Agape, Shan, the Recovery Pastor

Romans 12:1-2 instructs us to be a living sacrifice that is Holy and pleasing to God by not conforming to this world but be transformed.  We are heading into the Lent season of self-reflection.  I pray you take time daily to be in your Serenity place for some much needed self-reflection and prayer.
