The Buffalo Bills were one of the best teams in the league in 2022 yet again. However the DeMar Hamlin incident really brought things into the proper perspective, his injury brought life eternal into perspective. Buffalo made the tournament as we all knew they would but fell short in the round of the Elite Eight again in the tournament of 2023.

The Minnesota Vikings had an amazing 2022 year finishing 13-4, before being trounced out the tournament to end up 13-5. The defense is the number one issue and the time is now for Cousins and company.

The 2022 Jacksonville Jaguars had a super impressive performance even with a 9-8 finish. Doug Pederson has his guys on the right track & Trevor Lawrence is a force to be reckoned with now, not in the future but right now.

Tampa had a 2022 they'd love to quickly forget as Bradys year off the field in many ways effected his team on it whenever the Buccs played. The treatment and the mismanagement of Lord Brady along with some scisims allowed the Buccs to win just enough in a bad division but ultimately fall and hard in the wildcard round of the 2023 tournament. What now as life moves forward without his Brady-ness.

Dallas, Dallas, Dallas, what did you do or in this case what didn't they do? Win the Conference Championship game in Jan. 2023 to face Philadelphia for the rights to lose to the team that was born in Dallas ages ago. The `Boys have tons to repair and will they have it together by fall 2023.

Baltimore in 2022 had to see their Super Bowl dreams come to an end yet again in the first round of the NFL tournament in Jan. 2023. The Ravens also were Lamar Jackson-less to end the year and the postseason. Will action Jackson return to Baltimore?

The Chargers were close but not close enough as defensive woes and self control was their downfall in the postseason and thise same woes almost kept them from even seeing the tournament in Jan. 2023. Where do the Bolts go from here?

Over ten years ago the Packers found themselves in the same situation with Brett Farve that they're currently in with Aaron Rodgers, the only difference is this time it could be way worse and the Packers will not come out unscathed as they are the big, bad, venomous, bullies in this one.

How about Daniel Jones and the Giants in 2022? The unexpected good season it was and the explosive playoff burst they had. Can Daniel Jones continue to grow under the tutelage of coach DaBoll?

The Dolphins won 9 & lost 9 in 2022, that 9th loss was in thewildcard game against their division rivalthe Buffalo. What an up and down year for the Phins. Injuries and concussions of massive proportions to Tua Tagovailoa. How will Tua's health effect him and the Dolphins in 2023?

Seattle found themselves in the postseason but lost to their rival San Francisco in the tournament of Jan. 2023. Geno Smith is the guy going forward without question, where will the Seahawks find themselves at this point in time next year, March 16th, 2024.

The Steelers were close to a postseason berth yet again with a rookie quarterback. If only Kenny Pickett started from week one correct or no? The 2022 season was one to remember more so than one to forget as Pittsburgh will build off of last year, a lot like Detroit.

Detroit had a mind blowing 🤯 2022 season. I mean something to build on for the 2023 upcoming season. 2022 was a buildup year and now expectations are higher than ever for the Lions and their fans in the den and the question is now can Detroit live up to those expectations and exceed them this season?

New England had a very mediocre year in 2022. Which will happen until you locate the next best thing that's CLOSE to Tom Brady. Only 1 Brady and he's done.....finally. The Commanders where oh so close to a final win loss record of 12-5 in 2022, but as many NFL teams are so very far away from that franchise quarterback they desperately need to push them over that proverbial hump they constantly face right around week 16 each year.

The New York Jets had a weird year in 2022, started out 6-2 & ran into some franchises quarterback maturity issues with Zach Wilson. Finding themselves in a downward spiral losing their final 6 games and missing the postseason yet again. Aaron Rodgers anyone?

A drama filled year in 2022 for the Falcons but when isn’t a season filled with drama in Atlanta? No Matt Ryan, no problem as the Falcons started with former Titans franchise quarterback and former Raiders backup Marcus Mariota. The Titans weren't my pick to win the AFC South in 2022, neither were the Jaguars which goes to show what I know and after a 7-10 year for the Titans, a new g.m. & possibly a new quarterback, this team has found themselves at the proverbial fork in the road.

So earlier this week Mr. Jones was in fact signed to an extension instead of being franchised tagged and or traded/released. Bottom line, Daniel earned his promotion in New York with The NY GIANTS, the question is however under B. DaBoll will he continue to grow, Excell, prosper and perform?

New Orleans has a championship defense just like Denver does, year in, year out. This yearly moniker won't always be, and just like Denver the offense was public enemy number 1 for New Orleans. Now Carr is in the big easy, let's see how 2023 unfolds this time next year.

Talk about a topsy-turvy up and down season for a franchise in 2022. The Carolina Panthers was one of those teams that experienced a semi-rollercoaster year. I say "semi" because the Panthers were close to a possibility of postseason play but not that close. Franchise quarterback is the number 1 issue for Carolina as they were 1 of 6 teams who finished the year 7-10.

The 2022 Raiders had a year to forget, but also a lot of bright spots to remember and grow off of in 2023.
