Welcome to Monday morning thoughts and out loud processing of internal dialogue. Today I just thought I'd share something that was asked of me that has really sparked a deeper introspection than expected.

Happy Resurrection Day, friends! He has risen indeed and we have life through Him!

It’s a quiet day in scripture. Many refer to today as “Silent Saturday.” But don’t lose heart! Hope is on the horizon. The reading today is Matthew 27:62-66.

Official sentencing and crucifixion of Jesus, an innocent man who took on the guilt and shame of all humanity for all eternity, takes place. Friends…it’s Friday. But Sunday is coming. 📖Today's Reading: Matthew 27 Mark 15 Luke 23 John 18

The last meal, prayer in the garden, betrayal and the most unorthodox trial are today’s events leading to the cross. The main text I am reading from today is in John 18.

We’re continuing our journey to the cross today. Full blown preparations for betrayal are under way. Today we read Mark 14:1-16 and Exodus 12:21-28.

Teaching about the Kingdom and even a plot to destroy, these are some of the event of this day in Jesus’s life. 📖This day’s events can be read about in: Matthew 22:23-40 Mark 12 Luke 21 John 11:47-53 And check out these prophetic messages in Isaiah 51:6 and Jeremiah 31:35-37

Let’s read and talk about what most likely happened on this day with Jesus and His disciples.

Today marks the beginning of the final earthly Ministry days of Jesus as He walked toward the cross. Join me each day this week as we read the events of the day. Today is Palm Sunday, the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem. We will be reading this in John 12:12-50 (CSB).
