On our first stop of the B3 Road Trip Wess found someone who can nerd out about fishing bass as much as he can! Mark is a very accomplished tournament angler and we do a deep dive into favorite styles of fishing, the good, bad, and ugly side of tournament fishing and more.

What a weekend! Sice the blizzard we got last tuesday we have had THE BEST pheasant hunting of the year! Wess and I along with David Miller and some other friends seen literally thousands of pheasants over the last 3 days of hunting. Then we talk about packing for a long trip. The way we prioritize gear. And what we bring.

We discuss his first trip to the Prairie Potholes of North Dakota for upland and waterfowl with his two buddies. The Chukar hunting opportunities that he has out his backdoor and how you dont have to kill yourself on a chukar hunt. 

Joe York is one of the nicest guys that you could ever meet! He just started bird hunting in the last few years but has really fully committed to the life style. Kyle Stokke is one of the best guys around. He and his dogs are relentless in their pursuit of birds on the prairie. This dude has killed more sharptails with his lab than most guys have with big running pointing dogs. We chat about just how he does it, what he looks for, and his uncanny ability to E scout using OnX Hunt.
