The Poor Man Fantasy Football League Podcast

It's our illustrious co-host's turn on the hot seat this week and we're bring the fantasy football forces to "bear" on our league mate Andrew. Well, it's more like he brings up a football great that was a Bear and we learn some other juicy (i.e. BBQ) details about Andrew. It's lot's of fun, so get a snack, maybe some breakfast and a coffee and enjoy the show. 

This one's a doozy, eh! We have all three Canadian league mates on one show with our French Connection friend from Quebec in Gabriel dishing some truths about micro-brewery IPA's, football rumours, and some facts of life. The conversation was so good, we had to go into overtime, but with sudden death rules. 

Donny drops into the show and out part way through with some technical difficulties, but we get reconnected and share some laughs. Not to mention we address the Hill trade, talk some about under the radar signings, and experience some general mayhem. There were a few tangents but it's all laughs. What a wild weekend of football. Kickers reign supreme. Maybe we should add them back to a our fantasy teams, NOT! We're getting excited for the Superbowl and differ on our opinions of who's going to be there. Plus we really take a tangent near the end. Sorry, lol. Good times all around.

We have our Champion! It was a high scoring affair and was exciting all the way until Monday Night, but there can be only one. Join us as we celebrate our Champion, a Birthday, victories in our other leagues, and transition our sites to the off season. Thank you for an amazing season everyone! 

It's Championship week and we're in the middle of the holiday season. The fun and festivities of Christmas are behind us and now it's time to Crown a Champion! Look out New Years Eve, because our focus is on the games played on Sunday. Two teams will enter, but only one will leave as our New League Champion. Will it be our faithful commissioner Donny or will Marvin repeat and assert his fantasy do...

It's the last week of the regular season and we're all fighting to secure our spots in the playoffs and out of no where comes...whatever this travesty was. This fantasy desolation. This collapse of know commodities. It made things interesting. We now have our final four finalists vying for the title of League Champion. The rest are battling it out in the Consolation Bracket a.k.a. the Toilet Bowl....

POW! And just like that I am out of the playoffs, but Andrew is still in the mix along with Ryan, Marvin, and Sean. Donny is our only lock and this week there are two pivotal match-ups that will decide the final four. The fight is on and the stakes are high, we've got injuries, COVID, last second trades, and some tough real life NFL match-ups. Who will come out on top? Grab a drink and let's find...

It's week 14 and our trade deadline is here. Managers are scrambling to lock down their rosters with either win now assets or build for the future. It's do or die on whether you are in or out of the playoffs. Let's find out who plants their flag where, so queue up Tom Petty's Free Fallin' and get ready to dive in to this week's episode.

We share some strong Canadian'isms; from two fisting our drinks to the inescapable talk about hockey, but we bring it all around to talk about football and yes a little of that is about the CFL! With Jonathan "Touchdown" Taylor going off for 5 TDs it seems only right that we bring his fantasy owner Marvin on the show to share his reaction. While here we talk Thanksgiving, Thursday Football, the state of the Raiders, make some predictions, and we even get into live trade talks. Most of all we have some fun, because if it's not fun, it's not worth doing!

It was another bizarre week in football that had some serious fantasy impact. Andrew and I share our thoughts and the occasional feeling on how our football seasons on and off the field of fantasy are shaping up. There's a $10 FAAB prize for the first person to correctly identify Andrew's rhymey movie reference and of course we throw down on our match-up predictions & weekly bet. It's all fun!

The NFL trade deadline came and went with little impact but injuries, COVID, and bye weeks drive a spending spree on the waiver wire

The Bye'pocalypse is over. Now it's time for the fallout! Andrew and I welcome in our special guest, Donny, to talk about what happened this weekend both on the real field and in our fantasy lineups. The playoff landscape is taking shape and the opinions are strong to say the least. Plus we each get our shots in where we can.
