That's it. Fratton Park hosts the final game of the season, with Hull City the visitors.  Hull need something from this, ideally a win, which could make for an entertaining last game, whereas Portsmouth were safe after the Watford win.  Safety was always Portsmouth's goal for our first season back in the championship, and achieving that despite having the lowest wage budget in the league is a great...

Nothing was riding on this game at Hillsborough, with Portsmouth guaranteed safety and Wednesday no longer able to reach the play-offs, and the game reflected that.  It could have gone one of two ways: either the brakes come off and two teams go toe-to-toe, or both teams take a well-earned breather and not much happens on the pitch. Late drama in both of Portsmouth's latest games sees the blues collect just one point from 2 games, but they remaining 4 clear of the drop.  Heartbreak at Coventry after a spirited performance was followed by chaos at Fratton against Derby, not helped by some completely incompetent match officials.  Pompey still have safety in their own hands, but we really need some away points to ease...

Great at Fratton, terrible on the road.
