Yesterday we looked at how to pray, today we looked at what to pray. Also, we talk about the fun, enjoyable topic of forgiveness.

Today, Jesus tells us how to pray. Tomorrow, we look at Jesus telling us what to pray. Listen up!

Should we celebrate Easter once a year? No! The incredible hope of Easter is a reality for the Christian every single day of the year. A resurrected Jesus changes everything. 

The greatest question ever asked is asked: "Why do you search for the living among the dead?" Jesus is alive! What does that mean for us today? 

What would the disciples have thought on the Saturday before Sunday? Had they wasted their last 3 years? Where they going to suffer the same fate as Jesus? Could it be that even when it seems like God is not working, He actually is? 

We stop for a moment and ponder the cross and how intense that day must've been. Today, take a moment and reflect upon what Jesus did for us.

Steve Strickland and Justin try to think about what the disciples must have been feeling throughout Jesus washing their feet, Judas betraying Jesus, the Lord's Supper, Jesus predicting Peter's denial, and Jesus being handed over. It was a crazy day. Let's reflect, and think about what the day before the cross must've looked like. 

As we walk through Matthew, we can't skip the tough passages. Today, pray for yourself as a potential spouse on day, pray for your future spouse, and be encouraged by the grace of God. 

Jesus addresses lust here in Matthew 5:27-30. If this is something that you struggle with, don't try and 'tame' your sin, KILL it. At  The Point , we have a ton of life group leaders who would love to talk with you if this is something that you are struggling with.
