Stewardship can be defined as managing the Kingdom’s resources for the Father’s business. With that in mind, the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil. Peace is a person, and His name is Jesus. Amidst what can be a busy time for most, and also a difficult time of year for some, we must remember where our peace comes from. It isn’t found in a job, a promotion, or a relationship. Peace is found in God alone.

Tertullian once said, “The closer one comes to God the more joy is experienced. Joy based not on circumstances or passion emotion, but the joy of the Lord that comes from knowing Him.” He was right. Joy is not a temporary emotion, but living in the awareness of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and redemptive power.

God is always at work behind the scenes in ways that we cannot see. It’s easy at times to get discouraged in seasons of waiting, but we must exercise patience. Romans 8:25 says that we must wait patiently and confidently for those things that we are looking forward to.

Thanksgiving identifies God’s sovereignty and faithfulness in our lives. It realigns our heart to trust Him. It’s so much more than one day of the year in November. Thanksgiving is the anecdote of discontentment, depression, anxiety, and every other ugly thing under the sun.

Self awareness is important, but today we are talking about what it means to have a Godly awareness. In order for us to achieve goals that we have set, we first must recognize what may be holding us back. When we are in tune with what God has for us, our life will flourish.

Owen Carr said, “A day without prayer is a boast against God.” As believers we must be in prayer daily, not only to strengthen ourselves but it is important that we pray for others as well. Join us today as we talk about interceding on behalf of others, what that means and how we can exercise doing so daily.

When we find ourselves in the storms and trials of life, we must remember that we are not alone. God will lead us through each hardship we face. In fact, the Bible tells us that God will not test us beyond our power to remain strong. Through Him and Him alone, can we do all things. Join us today to be encouraged and blessed.

Sarcasm. The Bible says that there is the power of life and death in the tongue. This means that there are both positive and negative consequences that we can reap. Sarcasm can plague unity.

Tearing someone down will never give you a step up in life. Proverbs 16:28 says that “gossip separates the best of friends.” It is a serious matter, and one that often gets dismissed in the church. Today we dive into the dangers of gossip, but also ways we can learn to shut it down and avoid it. In turn, our relationships will be healthier and we will be unified as a church!
