Some sitcoms have an unearned reputation for being trite and simplistic and going for the lowest-common-denominator when it comes to humor. Just Shoot Me is not one of those shows. The message of this week's show is important to MarvinDog Media, so we wanted everyone who listens to MarvinDog Media shows to have a chance to hear it. Diversity is not a bad thing. Period. This month, the guys talk about a small line from the mid-80s that was born out of a mother's desire to give her son toys that looked like him and his friends. It was a terrific toy line, but very short-lived....

Did I do that? Got any cheese? Ok, we're done. Thankfully, Steve Urkell did not show up in the first episode of Family Matters. Is the show better for it? It's one of the most acclaimed shows of all time, so of course Jeff has never seen it. And of course Cory has seen all of it. This time out, the crew decided to discuss a show with a little less drama than Buffy: Family Guy! You can't get much sillier or play with lower stakes than a show with a talking dog and tons of fart jokes. And yet, our fearless trio manages to have a serious discussion about the merits of the show! Enjoy!

It's about time! The Pilot Episode crew has been waiting for this show for a long time, and we're excited to finally bring it to you! Buffy is Cory's favorite show of all time, and it's in the top 10 (maybe top 7) for both Regina and Jeff, so you can see why the show clocks in at longer than normal. But fear not, it's quality AND quantity! So let's vamp it up, folks!

Don't call it a comeback! Actually, you CAN call it a comeback. After almost 5 years away, The Pilot Episode is making a triumphant return! Cory and Jeff are back with their new co-host Regina Davis to make you laugh and maybe help you learn a little bit, too!
