Brad and Myke welcome Dan Bishop from Karas Kustoms to discuss his great adventure to the Los Angeles Pen Show. As a first time show vendor it was great to get his insight on all of the goings on at one of the biggest pen shows on the planet.

Brad and Myke catch you up on all the pen and ink goings on over the last few weeks, including the quest for the orange Vanishing Point, which has unfortunately been solved. They also discuss how Brad is wrong about Myke's favorite orange ink, lost pens, cursive handwriting, and amazing follow up from the Visionnaire eBayer.

Brad breaks out the feels in this Pen Addict / Analogue crossover event, as your hosts talk about the Lypen and Esterbrook and how to handle these types of public pen issues in a respectful manner. Myke talks about a pen buying rut he is in, and there's been a Bigfoot sighting!

After two weeks of holding on to listener follow up Brad and Myke unleash it all in this weeks episode. They give a quick Pen Addict Kickstarter update (with a special guest appearance!), and later go deep into notebook discussion with all the feedback from episode #137. So we did this Kickstarter thing that turned out ok. And we talked about it a lot. And Myke maybe got a little teary. You guys are the best. Thank you!

Brad and Myke are joined this week by Tony Sculimbrene from Everyday Commentary to discuss all things EDC. Why do we carry knives? What makes a flashlight special? What pens get the job done? And, most importantly, would you spend $1300 for a lightsaber?

Break open a new notebook in case of emergency! That seems to be what Myke and Brad do, with each having five or more active notebooks in the rotation. Is this a problem? They also talk about falling in love again with an old pen and read some amazing reader mail.

Fun fact: Brad ignores Myke while they record. At least that's what is discovered this week as Brad so excitedly repeats something Myke had told him the week before. After patching things up, the guys also share stationery resolutions for 2015 and dig into how you can work on improving your handwriting.

Christmas has come and gone but Brad and Myke keep it going by talking about all the holiday goodies their listeners received. They also follow up on last weeks Field Notes rankings, all the new orange pens on the market, and a couple of new and polarizing products.
