Plans for €725 million in public funding for RTE are set to go to Cabinet. The TV licence fee will remain at its current rate of €160 per year, supplemented by Exchequer funding on a three-year basis. Pat discussed these plans with Fergus Finlay, Irish Examiner Columnist and Aisling Moloney, Irish Daily Mail Editor.
