This week I have a chat with guest Jamey Racer, radiographer and teacher. We talk about the past, present, and future of radiology and medical imaging. Types of scans, radiation exposure, and the changes that computers and artificial intelligence are bringing to the work.

This week I have another long chat with science fiction author A.C. Hachem (achachem.com) about his recently released book Dawn Of Legaia (dawnoflegaia.com). We also touch on creativity and the process, the technology in his book (including AI, androids, and artificial gravity), the near future society he's imagined, comic cons, and then we nerd out about movies and video games for a while.   

This week I ramble about the need for level-headed communication for a functional society, and ponder why it's so hard to do, including science communication. Also, lots of medical news from Earth and space about stem cells and genetics.

This week I talk to Albert Falke and Line Drube of the European Commission's NeoShield-2 project (neoshield.net). We discuss the scope of the NeoShield project from technical challenges to the science of asteroids.

This week I have an interview with Transhumanist Party presidential candidate Zoltan Istvan. We talk about why transhumanism needs a politcal element, the environment, universal basic income, and the future of the arts in a transhumanist world.  Also, news about a Chinese radio telescope larger than Arecibo. 

This week there was so much cool news I had to do an all news show. Elon Musk's plan to go to Mars, Kepler and Rosetta, potential medical breakthroughs, and a movie shot by and starring drones.  Also, your kid might see the 22nd century. Think about that!
