Making the Rosary an Intentional Habit If you’re looking to grow your spiritual self, one of the best things you can do is to make praying the Rosary an intentional, purposeful part of your everyday life. John's words should ultimately become our own. In what ways can I decrease, so that Christ can increase in me? Saint Paul got to a place in his life in which this had totally taken place. Saint Paul said very beautifully: "It is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me." Paul had decreased to such an extent that there was very little of Paul left. It was just Jesus. One of the fears that w...

Tithing to the church - do you know what it has to do with theologically and according to the Scriptures? It has to do with your keeping 90%. The Bible says if you do not tithe to the Lord, the 90% He lets you keep will not be enough to meet your needs. The imagery the Bible uses, is that you carry your coins around in a purse, a little drawstring bag. The Lords says, "If you do not give my tithe...

It's because Jesus chose bread to be the main symbol to be used in the Eucharist, which...

So many people nowadays think they can just talk to God on their own and He's gong to listen? None of us - none of us - deserves to be heard by the Father. Yes, He hears everything because He's God. But do you think for a moment He's going to grant any favor that you've asked? What have you done for Him? How many times have you failed Him? And suddenly, because you're in need now, you want somethi...

Without faith you cannot believe. Without faith you cannot hope. There is no hope without faith and belief: in Christ, in what He has done for us, in the gifts He has given us. Without faith and hope, you can't love. You'll be so filled with anxieties and stresses and the problems of the world. It is precisely faith and hope that empower Christian love to manifest in the world. As St Peter says...
