What secret of living did Paul grasp that allowed him to be fearless, courageous, and focused, no matter what life brought his way? Today we look at an ancient class of warriors for a key.

Would you rather be your beloved's "one of many" or their "one and only?" Being in a relationship when they "love you, also!" but not only isn't going to be a union that thrives. Our spiritual life is much the same way; our souls were not created for "one of many" but to love One with all that we are.

The mission of Jesus is big, bold, and epic. What is our role in the grand mission of God? What does He call us to?

Paul has the audacity to worship God while beaten and locked up in jail... what do we learn about our lives from this account in Acts 16?

"If the Word of God does not dwell with power IN us... it will not pass with power FROM us." Read God's Word at the speed of relationship to find the nature and character of God.

Compliments speak to the exterior. Encouragement speaks to the behavior. Honor speaks to the identity. When you speak honor, you partner with God to reveal their glory. When you speak dishonor, you partner with the enemy to reveal their shame. Speak life. Honor all. *And today, especially honor your mom!

God is vast! His ways, unfathomable. His power, absolute. His love, unending. His victory, assured. Yet despite the epic size of God's power... the most beautiful thing about His movement is that He stops and whispers to each heart and soul. He spoke the universe into existence... and that same voice calls us to follow Him.

"You want to do what to my what?!" is what this sermon could have been titled. We see here in Acts 15 what happens when a church forgets that Jesus is, and should remain, the MAIN thing! Be challenged today, is Jesus on the thron of your heart?
