The New LoFi Mixtape

This month we’ve got new music from TOKiMONSTA, Jayda G, Boys Noize, Lone, Star Parks, the Sirens of Lesbos and many more. There's a good mixture of lo-fi chilled-out beats, indie music and deep house. And loads of other weird and wonderful new music.

June's Mixtape includes three hours of summer sounds. Featuring new music from Star Parks, Disclosure, Alex Boman, Magic Bronson, Jacques and Agoria. For me, the music that best represents summer is a combination of Reggae, High Life, Afrobeat and Surf Rock. And I think there is a good mixture of all of that in the first hour of the mix.

This month's mix starts off with some jazzy summer tunes before moving into some deep house and disco. Look out for new music from Bicep, Quantic, Munya, Linkwood & Foat, and Green-House.

And while “weird and wonderful” new music is what we are all about at The New LoFi, this mix might be too random even for us! But hey, we’re just giving you the music that is coming out now and mashing it up into an eclectic mix for your listening pleasures.

I don’t know what it is about Fall that makes me feel like listening to indie music. Maybe there is more indie music produced in the Autumn months? Maybe it’s that stripped back sound that compliments the season getting crisper and leaves falling…. it’s like nature is stripping back.
