In a report by RBC Economics, it was highlighted that debt among Canadian millennials has reached unprecedented levels. This situation could pose risks if they face employment uncertainties. Meanwhile, the Conference Board of Canada issued another report cautioning that the economy is on the brink of stagnation due to the depletion of savings that Canadians had accumulated during the pandemic.

In September, city officials will select the sites for the initial three to five hubs. The intention is to inaugurate the first hubs by December, with approximately 15 hubs operational by the project's completion. The hubs will include access to care, transitional and respite beds, health and wellness services and more.
