On today's episode, I sit down with Matt AKA Darkhorse_Lionheart. Matt is a veteran of Lima Co. 3/5 Marines, where he witnessed the destruction and hellish reality of war during the invasion of Iraq. In the first interview episode, Kevin sits down with his friend, co-worker, and former patrol teammate Marvis. Together, they discuss Marvis' upbringing, professional background to include working as a prison guard, woodland firefighter, and patrol cop, as well as current issues facing today's law enforcement officers.

In Episode 5, Kevin briefly talks about mindset in and out of law enforcement as well as Cooper's Color Codes. Also featured in this podcast is a message about an upcoming project, Stay Ready Training.

In Episode 4, I talk about the recent shooting of Rayshard Brooks in the City of Atlanta and cover the United States Supreme Court case and subsequent "test" all use of force incidents are judged by: Graham V. Connor.

In Episode 3, Kevin talks briefly about the "defund the police movement" and weighs the pros and cons of the concept. 

In episode 1.2, Kevin further discusses his take on the reaction and response to the in-custody death of George Floyd, specifically talking about the 8 Can't Wait campaign from the views of a current law enforcement officer. 

In part one of this two-part episode, Kevin takes a completely unscripted approach in responding the in-custody death of George Floyd and discusses the mental health of LEOs as they respond to the riots and civil unrest and their responsibilities going forward in their careers.
