The Mix-Up Marriage Podcast

This was a fun episode we talked about how busy our week has been.  How we feel that a transition is happening for in regards to our job.  Also how our kids is getting older and thinking about when they will be adults lol and etc.

We're excited about this episode, we have special guest Dan Purcell from the Get Your Marriage On Podcast.  We talk to Dan about how he started his organization Get Your Marriage On. We also about why is it hard for married couples to talk about sex with each other and communicate in a healthy way. And to bring the fun of sex back in the marriage.

This episode is old to us and new to you. We recorded this December of last year, we talk about the stereotypes of pk's (pastors kids). Because Angie and her sister are pk's and how she grew up as a child, she changed my perspective of all pastors kids are not the same.

We are in our new office and went Kentucky to see the creation Museum and the Ark Museum.

This is the last episode that we will be doing in this studio. We're moving to the Southside of Pittsburgh. Also in an apartment we were cleaning find a sex check list from the tenant that moved out. And it brought the conversation on how to properly communicate with your spouse about sex.

We talk about social media and how to in character but still have your personal life personal. Also how the bridge collapsed in Squirrel Hill a couple of miles away from our studio.

We talked about how Angie feels about preaching at our church on a Sunday for the first time.  We also had family time this weekend and went to the Project Hope Movie Festival. It was a good time and we talked about other things etc.

We had a weekend without the kids, date night  and going to the movies early. Angie got her hair dyed and our cats don't like our dog Valentines Day tips to improve in your relationships. We watched a movie called Long Story Short which is a really good movie Learning how to rest and take breaks

What have done on our break, which includes the holidays, being ballet parents and etc. Angie is reading a Carey Nieuwhof book and how it is helping to build character and learning how to be present in the moment. As we finished recording our last episode before our back we went out to eat and met new friends. Shout out to Jason and Pearl and etc.

Angie and Catty went to a Van Gogh exhibit in Pgh. And we talk about her art teacher in high school and different people she know that does art. And Angie receiving encouragement from our neighbor and beach body coach. How to allow God to lead us to encourage people and is it possible to be to positive?

The month of November is national adoption month and since Angie is adopted we have special guest and the episode, her parents who adopted her Dad and Mom.

We talk about our prior weekend/week which was taking our daughter to ballet and taking our son to the movies. And Maurice has a new obsession with boba tea. And we talk about everything else in between.

Why isn't cerulean called light/sky blue, Maurice thinks it's the same color. The dictionary added new words that was influenced by the pandemic.

Angie gives a funny story about her doctors visit and we talk about funny bathroom stories.
