September 3, 2025 | Teaching from Nehemiah 2–3, Cory O'Hara emphasizes that leadership is influence, and every believer carries it. Godly leaders are called to attempt great work—not in their own strength, but because God steadies, supplies, and strengthens them. As followers of Jesus, we must not only hear God's Word but also act on it, stepping boldly into the work He’s assigned to us.

August 27, 2025 | Kicking off the fall semester, Cory O'Hara dives into Nehemiah and talks about our call to share the Gospel to our communities. Godly leaders, like Nehemiah, feel a deep burden for the brokenness in their community and respond with bold, faith-driven action. Cory challenges us to ask for big requests that only God can fulfill. 

April 30, 2025 | In Psalm 63:1–8 , Sam Morris teaches that God is our sustainer, our satisfaction, and our salvation. Only He can truly satisfy our souls—better than anything this world offers. Where are you looking to find satisfaction for your soul?

February 12, 2025 | Reading through the book of Exodus, Cory O'Hara recaps why God gives laws to His people to follow. God gives laws so we can know that He is holy and that we are called to be set apart from unbelievers. When we follow God's laws, we learn how to walk in His ways and and are able to experience His blessings. 

February 5, 2025 | Cory O'Hara highlights Exodus chapters 5 through 12 where we read through Moses' journey of learning to trust and obey God. Moses is reminded of the Lord's power, promises, and provision when he was called upon to help free the Israelites from Egypt.

January 29, 2025 | Teaching from Exodus 2, Sam Morris walks though God's protection, preparation, and promise over Moses' life. Just like Moses, God protects us from harm, prepares us for His plans, and promises us many blessings when we are faithful to Him.

January 22, 2025 | Reading from Genesis 32, Cory O'Hara uses Jacob's story of transformation as an example of how God can use our stories to change the lives of those around us. Are we willing to obey the calling God has on our lives? Are we willing to be changed to look more like Christ?

January 8, 2025 | Cory O'Hara walks through the story of Jacob and Esau and how God is faithful in the midst of dysfunction. 

November 13, 2024 | Cory O’Hara walks through what we have if we follow Jesus: a new life, a new ministry, and a new message. God calls us to be ambassadors for Him; representing Christ and sharing the gospel to others.

November 6, 2024 | Highlighting Matthew 22:34-40, Cory O'Hara talks about the most important command in scripture given by Jesus. What does it really mean to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind? Are we showing that same kind of love to those around us?

October 9, 2024 | Teaching from Matthew 10:1-5, Cory O'Hara walks through Jesus sending out His disciples into the world to be witnesses for the gospel. Just like the disciples were instructed, we are also commanded to go and tell others about the good news of Jesus Christ.

October 2, 2024 | Teaching from Matthew 9:35-38, Cory O'Hara walks through how we are called to be laborers for the kingdom by sharing the gospel with the world.

September 25, 2024 | Cory O'Hara talks about how once you choose your path of either following Jesus or the world, you will end up with two results: spending eternity in heaven or hell.

September 18, 2024 | Cory O'Hara continues to walk through Psalm 1:1-4. We read that those who delight in the Lord will be blessed and faithfully secured. Those who love worldly things will not have a fruitful life. 

September 11, 2024 | Walking through Psalm 1:1-2, Cory O'Hara discusses the choices we have to either follow the world, or follow God. As Christians, we need to meditate on God's Word and take delight in Him.

September 4, 2024 | Teaching from Matthew 8:5-13, Cory O'Hara talks about how Jesus wants to hear our requests and how to have faith in asking, with humility in our hearts.

May 8, 2024 | Reading through Mark 14:3-9, Cory O'Hara walks through the love Mary showed for Jesus. Mary fell at the feet of Jesus and listened to His teaching. Mary's love for the Lord is an example to us of how we should love God and learn more about Him.

May 1, 2024 | Eighth graders Camden Ewalt, Sydney Latham, and Trey Simons teach God's Word and encourage their peers. Highlighting Proverbs 3:5-6, Camden talks about how to trust the Lord with everything and know that God will guide us every step of the way. Sydney teaches on how as Christians, we are called to be the salt and light of the earth, as it is mentioned in Luke 14:34-35 and Luke 8:16....

April 24, 2024 | Teaching from John 5, Cory O'Hara walks through Jesus performing the miracle of healing a sick man and helping him to walk again. Through this miracle, we learn how this was the start of the people realizing that Jesus is the Messiah they have been told about from their ancestors.

April 17, 2024 | Teaching out of John 4, Jake Simmons walks through the story of the Samaritan woman at the well and how Jesus revealed Himself to her as the Messiah. Jesus tells the woman that the Gospel is the living water that gives eternal life. Whoever drinks from it will be with Jesus forever.

April 10, 2024 | Reading from John chapter 3, Cory O’Hara walks through the story of Jesus and Nicodemus as a reminder that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, as it is written in John 14:6. We can only know the truth by knowing who Jesus is and believing in Him as God’s Son and the Savior of the world.

April 3, 2024 | Donny Mayo reads out of John 2 about what it looks like to walk with Jesus and how to navigate walking with the Lord.

March 27, 2024 | Teaching out of John 1:19-29, Cory O'Hara talks about Jesus being the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Just as a lamb was used a sacrifice in the Old Testament, we read that Jesus was sent as the perfect sacrifice for us so that if we believe in Him, we can be with Jesus for all eternity. 

March 20, 2024 | Starting a new series in John, Cory O'Hara teaches out of John 1:1-14, where we read that Jesus is the light and the hope of the world. The world is a dark place full of sin, and sin leads to death. But when God sent Jesus to earth, Jesus became that light to the world so that everyone who believes in Him will have hope, salvation, and eternal life. That's our goal: to believe in...

March 6, 2024 | Teaching out of Judges 6:11-16, Sam Morris walks through Gideon's journey of God using Gideon to defeat the Midianites, even though Gideon's tribe was the weakest. Just like God used Gideon, God calls us to remain faithful to Him despite our weaknesses. God can use turn our weaknesses into strengths when we trust in Him.
