As these verses remind us to care for the needy and care for our homes, we're reminded that we are training our children to, in turn, train their children in the same way. My prayer for us is that God would help us to be diligent regarding the needs of our families. We must be aware at all times, never slothful but always perceiving how we can strengthen the members of our families God has entrusted to us. In 2024, the sleep-aid industry will make over 64 BILLION dollars. That's up from 59 BILLION in 2023. Marla has a different take on rest vs sleep. May you find REST in the Lord this holiday season.
