While national congressmen put up a major fight and won major concessions, less than 10 members in Austin challenged House Speaker Dade Phelan’s direct assault on GOP priorities.

Today we are joined by congressman Keith Self to explain the federal leadership battle. I also take time to break down the current leadership battle in the Texas House.  

Texas must do better to preserve and conserve our children’s innocence from the sexual revolution that is ravaging them.  

This week Luke examines what can be done regarding child gender-modification during the upcoming legislative session. We also look back to his “God and Government” special featuring Texas pastors and their perspectives on what the Bible can tell us about self-governance today.

The new Democrat Caucus chair is now admitting that Dade Phelan and his cronies rewarded them for fleeing to D.C. last year. Dustin Burrows is also getting a LITTLE testy as Republicans increase their pressure for real conservative results this session.  

The Texas GOP pushed back to lawmakers who are attacking GOP priorities, including incoming GOP nominee for speaker Dade Phelan.  

The Texas House passed 1,261 bills and House joint resolutions last session. The Republican Party of Texas wants seven of those bills to be certain GOP policies this session, and House leadership is very unhappy about it.  

We have to invest in the future of Texas, so today I am breaking down which organizations I’m financially supporting this year and why I support each of them.
