The Luke Macias Show

Sands Casinos lost big, taxpayers were protected in Austin, and last night’s election set the tone for the next year in Texas.

A school district is in hot water after they allegedly knew about inappropriate activity from their coach and tried to cover it up. Ken Paxton is suing Big Pharma, and a Democrat judge joins the ranks of politicians trying to break the law to undermine the death penalty.

Let’s talk about all the political dominoes that are falling, the implications of that, and what the establishment forces are trying to do to take advantage of the situation.

This week, we discuss Ken Paxton's pursuit of EPIC City for violations of Texas’s securities laws. Paxton and Abraham George are also teaming up to close the Texas primaries, and this past week, the SREC censured numerous Republicans.

A lot is happening across Texas. We cover a lot but first off let’s talk about the fact that Casinos are trying to buy a Texas Senate seat.

The State Board of Education is one of the most important elected bodies in Texas, and today, we will discuss why it matters so much to Texans.

Why is a radical foreign nation trying to use our state universities and why didn’t a bill pass to stop it? We have a moderate Texas House candidate waffling on parental empowerment in education and a liberal teacher decrying the conservative victories from this past session.

Today, I talked about all the ways Texans can honor the life of Charlie Kirk. His faith, principles, tactics, and policy positions must be carried on here in the Lone Star State.

Today, we sit down with Jonathan Saenz to discuss how far we’ve come since 2007, when Jonathan and I first met, and what some of the next battles will be in the fight to preserve Texas values.

Senator Paul Bettencourt, Morgan Meyer, and Ellen Troxclair got in a battle with Tony Tinderholt, Mitch Little, and 24 other Republicans who are all demanding that the small property tax relief package be expanded to include Republican taxpayers who are excluded from the small amount of relief.

Today, we break down why Governor Abbott is having to fight to undo the damage that Matt Shaheen did to election integrity this session and a conversation where Jared Patterson greatly misleads his constituent.

Redistricting maps are passing today, censure continues to be an important discussion in the Texas GOP, and Texas teachers are ripping up the Ten Commandments in their classrooms.

Today, we discuss Ken Paxton suing Big Pharma, conservative policies that might be added to the next special session agenda, and what can be done to both compel Democrats to return and punish them after their return to the legislature.

Today we sit down with Vanessa Sivadge, the President of Protecting Texas Children. She just launched a new project called “Behind the Shelves” and it’s something all Texans should know about.

Republicans are hitting back against Democrats who have fled the state.

The new maps show a more serious GOP intent on governing.

Today, I sit down and discuss the different perspectives from other factions within the GOP on how we advance policy and what we should focus on.

Today we look into what insights conservatives can gain from the latest dump of campaign finance reports, and we talk about the conservative agenda that Greg Abbott has set for the upcoming special session.

Watching those on the left attack policy makers in an attempt to politicize one of the most destructive natural disasters in modern Texas history has been infuriating.

An alleged Republican mayor is celebrating Pride Month, the Texas Senate is moving to the right, and conservatives in the Texas House continue to fight to advance conservative policy even after the session.

This is the final part of the three-part series covering the session. Today, we discuss the easy wins that were overlooked or, in most cases, intentionally killed.

Today, we talk about the real problem Texas has with spending and the implications that that has had on property tax relief and other policies that relate to taxpayers.

Today we go over many, not all, of the positive accomplishments of this legislative session. The one I forgot to mention was school choice which I will address in a later show.

SB 12 was restored in conference, Tinderholt is retiring, and TLR is attacking Burrows along with many other GOP members.

Today, we have over a dozen policies that have been passed in the last week, along with a crazy story about Ken Paxton being kicked off the House floor.
