The homey Young Wolf is no stranger to the lounge space but it is his first time on the pod so we're glad to have him bless the spot to share his journey in music and talk about his debut EP, Buried Alive and latest single with Lookas, MAXEDOUT!. We got to lean into our X-Men fandom like crazy with this episode as we welcomed Chander Poling into the lounge space to tell about The Uncanny Experience, which takes place July 12-13 in Minneapolis. Chandler is co-producer of The Uncanny Experience, a two day immersive fandom event created by fans for fans who desire to be mutant and proud.

IAMGAWD stepped into the lounge space for a spell to discuss fatherhood, the music industry and of course, his latest release City of GAWD. City of GAWD is available now via Bandcamp and is streaming on all platforms.

We welcomed Rufus Sims back into the lounge space to catch up & find out all about his latest release, Ill Dirty Rufus, produced by Master-ILL. It's a dope record that should mos def be added to your library. Ill Dirty Rufus is streaming now on Spotify. The next single, Actin' Crazy (featuring Bizarre), is streaming on YouTube.

We welcomed Rob Freeman into the lounge space to talk about the release of Drop The Needle: The B-Side on May 1, which follows its well-received predecessor released in 2022. Drop The Needle: The B-Side will be available in DVD and Blu-Ray formats.

We were happy to welcome J. Scienide & Bozack Morris back into the lounge space to talk about the new record, Fire At the Philharmonic, and J. Scienide's recovery after a very serious health scare. High key recommend Fire At the Philharmonic, which is available now on Bandcamp and is streaming on all platforms. The video for the first single, Chase the Sun, will be dropping on YouTube shortly.

We got a nice visit from our dawg, J.O. Mairs, who is dropping his latest EP, Maui, tomorrow on Bandcamp. Maui was inspired by the birth of his daughter, Maui, and evokes familiar feelings for new parents. High key recommend.

We welcomed Philth Spector for his first visit to the lounge space to share his come-up in the culture, the phenomenon that is Flipabeatclub and his latest release, The Sounds of Philthadelphia 4. The Sounds of Philthadelphia is available on Bandcamp and is streaming everywhere.

We will be commemorating 150 episodes with the alleged legend himself, Birdapres  @birdapres He will be touching down back in Winnipeg this Friday for his Fall '24 tour stop at Into the Music. We look forward to welcoming Bird into the lounge space for the first time as we dig into his rich catalogue and journey in the culture.

J.O. Mairs & Heavy G are no strangers to the lounge space and we welcome the homies once again to talk about their new full-length dropping Friday, October 4, SZN 2.
