After a disappointing home loss to a formidable FC Cincinnati team, the Loons went to Sporting Kansas City and took home their first ever points during the MLS regular season. Aided by a weather delay, the crossbar and an upcoming Open Cup final for SKC, the Loons did what they had to do and held onto the last play-in playoff spot for now.
