Rod explored the genealogy of Jesus which highlights that our God is a redeemer. God worked through generations of broken and sinful people to bring about his purposes. It is a reminder to us all that no matter how colourful our family story is, God can redeem it. 

Mel introduced this years Christmas Series: The Miracles of Christmas with a look at how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament messianic prophecies.

'Beyond' is Lifestreams' language for missions work both locally and internationally. In this service we heard an update from Jason and Cindy Eow who are part of our Beyond family serving with OMF in Japan.

Rod wrapped up our Philippians series with an encouragement to live with contentment and with a spirit of generosity; no matter what our situation. Paul's words to the Philippians remind us that we serve a God who provides for us.

This week Lifestreams Bull Creek celebrated our 3rd birthday together. We take this opportunity every year to thank God for what He has done and continues to do in our church and beyond.

Daron unpacks Philippians 4:5-9 which explores the subjects of anxiety and peace. He reminded us that Jesus is the lord of peace and his peace is available to us 24/7. 

Mel shared out of Philippians 4:2-5a in which Paul makes an appeal for reconciliation and unity within the Philippian church. Mel challenged us to consider if we need to seek reconciliation with another believer and reminded us that unity precedes God's blessing (Psalm 133) and that unity is closely linked with the outpouring of the Spirit of God.

Rod shared out of Philippians 3:12-4:1. He encouraged us to keep our our eyes on the prize: not too waver; to stay on track and to remain steady in God.

Janelle shared out of Philippians 3:1-11. Her encouragement to us was to put our full confidence in Jesus... abandoning confidence in ourselves, trusting God completely and rejoicing in the Lord and all He has done for us.

Sara shared with us from Philippians 2:19-30. She explored the example of two people that Paul recognized were living like Jesus (Timothy and Epaphroditus).

Mel continues our sermon series in the book of Philippians unpacking chapter 2:12-18 with the title: Working OUT what God is working IN. She encouraged us to: Live without grumbling, shine as stars in the universe with His light within us, and hold out the Word of God.

Daron continues our sermon series in the book of Philippians unpacking chapter 2:1-11. He encouraged us to have the mindset that: "Jesus is Lord" and have it at the heart of everything that we do.

As Luke Tassell encourages us to thrive in the midst of life's storms, it's an invitation to have a godly perspective and seek His vision through all that we face. We pray you are blessed.
