Recounting her experiences on the spiritual pilgrimage “El Camino de Santiago,” Sharon Smith shares the life lessons she learned and the ways she encountered God’s presence along the way.

In a world where it is common to create and define one’s own fragile identity, we can take heart in knowing that — when founded on Christ — our story and identity is safe.

Pastor Christian Smith - Amidst the craziness of this world, we are all trying to find our own place, our own meaning, our own purpose, our own story. However, we might be able to find ourselves by first finding God.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - Because of the resurrection of Jesus each and every one of us can have life as it was meant to be. We can experience more and more of it now. And we can experience it in all its reality forever in the age to come.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - When we increase peace in the world around us our peace increases. We have a greater sense of well-being. We thrive in every sphere of our lives. We experience greater happiness. We must accept the mission to increase the peace.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - When we need God the very most, He will often meet that need by sending us a person - or people - to meet that need.  God designed us to find deep satisfaction when we live in harmony with others.

Pastor Christian Smith - The flourishing peace that we have been given is something that can be cultivated; though peace is a gift from God, it is a gift we can develop so that it grows in our lives.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - To flourish is to have thriving well-being in every dimension of life and to experience life as a constantly growing, always improving, ever increasing, better and better, well-being in every dimension of life.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - God wants you to have well-being in every dimension of your life. He wants you to have holistic well-being. He cares not only about your spiritual health but also your mental health, and your physical health, and your relational health, and the health of your business and finances.

Christian Smith - Sometimes, we can have narrow vision, fixated on small stories, small purposes, rather than fixing our vision on God’s big purposes. In order to be big, magnanimous people who do courageous things, we need to see the big story.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - We need to rediscover, and fully employee, our God inspired imaginations. We should expect our imaginings to come true. We can and must imagine more.

Pastor Terry A.Smith - A person who has a generosity of spirit always sees possibilities and potential and opportunity in spite of present circumstances. They are magnanimous.

Pastor Terry A. Smith - Magnanimity, or the greatheartedness we should aspire to, is grounded in a deep awareness of who we are in relationship to God through our faith in Jesus, and is cultivated by growing in our relationship with Him. To grow in that relationship, we must dig deep.

Pastor Dan Dean - Hope does not depend on circumstances. We must continue to look to the future with hopeful anticipation, trusting and knowing that God promises that He has a good plan for our lives.
