The Carolina Challenge Cup begins here in Charleston, SC tomorrow.  It runs for this Saturday as well as next Wednesday an Saturday. The four teams are the Columbus Crew, Chicago Fire, FC Cincinnati and the host Charleston Battery!

After attending the Charleston Battery vs Charlotte Independence game on Wednesday, I talk about the result. I also watched Atlanta United later that night and what a crazy game! So, we talk about United Soccer League (USL) games going towards playoffs as well as the Major League Soccer picture and Premier League games this weekend.

Interview with Charleston Battery defender and captain Taylor Mueller as well as USL talk about standings and other clubs matches. We also talk pre-match of the USA vs Brazil tonight in New Jersey!

Interviewed Jason Longshore, ATL UTD commentator talking about Atlanta United and Josef Martinez chasing the goal record. I also interviewed Nico Rittmeyer of the Charleston Battery ahead of their clash at home with NY Red Bulls II.

Interviewed Charleston Battery Coach Michael Anhaeuser as well as forward Gordon Wild and Head Athletic Trainer Bobby Weisenberger after practice today ahead of Saturday's match against Atlanta United 2.  There is also a Premier League Season Preview ahead of the Manchester United - Leicester City clash today at Old Trafford.

This is an in-person interview with Dr. Joe Machnik.  Dr. Machnik is a rules analyst with Fox Sports for soccer as well as a former match commissioner with FIFA and CONCACAF.  He was an All-American goalkeeper, a college soccer coach, referee, head of referees, goalkeeping coach, assistant coach with USA 1990 World Cup team, and head of referees for MLS for 15 years.  

We spoke to Jay Riddle about his soccer background, his love for Arsenal but mainly his love for Atlanta United.  He tells us about his tattoo, joining The Faction, his love for Fever Pitch not the American version, and Atlanta United tailgates among other things...  All Star Week Preview also.  Also, there is a brief recap of the Charleston Battery's 3-0 Win over the Richmond Kickers.

Interview w/ Drew Bartow who was given the title of Charleston Battery Superfine. We talked about his experience watching the Bundesliga in Germany. how he found our local USL team the Charleston Battery. Finally, we talked about the last game against Pittsburgh and the upcoming match against the Richmond Kickers.

I spoke with Andrew Wiese, an American living in Moscow.  He tells us about the World Cup experience from on the ground in Russia and the six games he attended.  We also discuss Atlanta United and MLS action.
