The Layman's Guide to the Lectionary

Religion EN ↓ 205 episodes

Many churches use a lectionary, a series of Bible readings, in their worship together. In a one year lectionary, you would read the same Scriptures in church this weekend next year that you would read this weekend. In this podcast, we will do a weekly Bible study (50-60 minutes) on the LCMS' three year lectionary, which is what we use in the congregation I serve. Our lectionary includes an Old Testament reading, Epistle reading, and Gospel reading. It is Pastor Andrews' goal to help you grow deeper in your understanding and love of God's Word.
