How welcoming is your church? Do families feel welcomed? After visiting a few churches, hear some do's and don't when it comes to being visitor friendly. 

As we finish out 2023, Amber Pike brings you some encouragement and hope, no matter what season of life or ministry you find yourself in. 

Fun is important in kidmin, but is the fun (the method) happening at the expense of the messaging?

Do you ever find yourself doing the exact same thing in ministry, year after year? Take up the challenge and try something new. Get ideas on how to measure success. And plan with intentionality. 

After 16 or so years of taking kids to summer camp, I still believe in the importance of it. Make sure you are prepared for camp this summer, not just with supplies, but with a purpose in mind. 

Are you being authentically you in ministry? Are real relationships able to form because you are genuine? Be the you that God has called you to be; it matters. 

Summer in kidmin is BUSY! Before you know it, summer is over. Don't be left wondering where summer went and why you didn't get to enjoy it. Start now to intentionally make this summer a success both in your ministry and your personal life. 

An Easter celebration filled with excited teens, confetti cannons, and a balloon drop. Hear how every area of Easter Sunday was intentional and fun. Get some ideas for your own lesson time, and be encouraged when things don't quite work out like you'd like. 

Today's kids are struggling with who they are. Now, more than ever, it's important for you, kidmin leaders, to build relationships with kids, showing them who Jesus says they are!

Parents - are you passing on your faith? This podcast is a charge for parents to live out their faith, and for kidmin leaders to walk beside them. After a worship concert experience with my daughter, hear how faith can (and should be) passed on, how it needs to be lived out. 

Plan for greatness this next year. Things that used to be successful might not be as successful anymore. Reaching the maximum amount of families (wherever they are) might mean you need to pivot and do things differently. 

Sometimes ministry doesn't go how you want it to go. Events are low in attendance or you go through the stuff at church that makes you question if it's worth it. Remember your why. Remember the one.
