Allen Flanigan was a late scratch from this game but Auburn had no problem in their first SEC road trip against South Carolina, winning 81-66. Wendell Green Jr led the way with 22 points and played a terrific game on both ends, while Walker Kessler had another double double and 4 blocks. We were incredibly honored to get to talk basketball and life with Sonny Smith! He was Auburn's head basketball coach from 1978-1989 and is currently Auburn's color commentator for the Auburn Sports Network. We discussed this year's team, his impressions of Bruce Pearl, and many other stories and memories from his coaching career. 

Behind a tremendous atmosphere in Auburn Arena, the Tigers began conference play with a thorough beating of previously undefeated LSU. Auburn held LSU without a field goal for over 10 minutes and raced out to an 18-1 lead, then thwarted every LSU run. Walker Kessler was our MVP, recording a triple double in his SEC debut with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and a school-record 11 blocks.

Auburn passed a tough test from the Murray State Racers with another double digit win, as they now set their sights on the beginning of the SEC schedule. Wendell Green Jr, Jabari Smith, and Walker Kessler led the way to the Tigers' 39th consecutive nonconference victory at home. 

It's always great when your team turns a likely loss into a memorable win! Auburn managed to gut out a tough road W, after watching an 8 point halftime lead evaporate quickly. The Tigers were down by 13 with just over 8 minutes left but came back to win in the final minute. Walker Kessler was our MVP for this game, with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. 

It wasn't a masterpiece offensively, but Auburn turned a 5 point halftime lead into a 26 point win behind a great defensive effort. Steven Pearl joined Wes Flanigan with a 1-0 head coaching record at Auburn. The Tigers are now 9-1 as they prepare to head to Saint Louis on Saturday.

Auburn swarmed Yale from the opening tipoff to move to 7-1 on the year. This episode recaps the game and gets into some bigger picture discussion on Bruce Pearl and Auburn having more wins over the last five years than any other SEC team. 

The Tigers returned home to Auburn Arena and passed a test from the scrappy UCF Knights. Walker Kessler had a career night and Jabari Smith effortlessly led the team in score. 

Auburn was an important part of college basketball's Feast Week, as they played in a double overtime thriller against UConn, and beat NCAA Tournament contenders in Loyola Chicago and Syracuse. Matt and Jackson excitedly break all the action down, and discuss what this week's developments may mean for the rest of the season.

The Auburn offense never really got on track in Tampa, but the Tigers defense and depth eventually were enough to overcome an early 15 point deficit to South Florida on the road. Jackson was on a plane at the time of recording, so Matt tackled this game recap solo.

Fresh off a huge 77-54 win over Morehead State in the season opener, Matt and Jackson revel in the success of newcomers Walker Kessler, Jabari Smith, Wendell Green Jr, and others. A 35-6 run to start the game put the incredibly high ceiling of this team on display.
