THE JIFE MUSIC SHOW

We talk to Reggae Gospel artist Macabrentford about his conversion experience and how a revelation he received influenced his music.  We also have new music from Emrand Henry and Zidane among others on this edition of the show. 

We salute our African heritage with this special Black History edition of The JIFE Music Show. Plus, we share an insightful Soulfood with Dr. Vince Bantu on the African connection to Christianity.

We caught up with Sone G, a Dancehall Gospel artist we first featured in 2020. He told us what he has done since then and addressed the issue of the growth of Reggae Gospel. Plus, we feature new music from Caribbean gospel artists and a controversial track from Christian Hip Hop artist Bizzle.

TGI Friday, the latest single from Di Anointed Vale is pretty is a new sound from the artist best known for his Reggae-themed gospel music. He explains why he chose to do the song and what inspired it. Plus, we hear music from Porsha Love, Joshua Ali, Bizzle, and others.

US based-St. Lucian gospel star and minister Emrand Henry speaks to us on a range of issues including lessons he learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic and how he sustained himself as an artist during that time. Plus, we have new music from American actor Kel Mitchell (best known for his role on the show Good Burger on Nickelodeon), Minister Taf from the UK and more.

In honour of Black History Month, we celebrate African heritage with songs looking at the connection with African history and Christianity. Our guest this week public theologian Ukemini Uwan, as we spoke about apologetics and how Christianity is relatable to people of African heritage.
