The Insanely Dangerous Retro Podshow

In this show, Dange gets to talk about one of the most forgotten and cult followed TV shows ever made, The 80s had Knightrider, Airwolf and The A Team, but also 1 show that only aired for one season and was cut throatly axed....the man on the motorbike in Black, Jesse Mach...Street Hawk, find out what Dange remembers and also Gaz's thoughts on it as something he didnt really remember watching.... 

What a movie to cover, one that as kids we watched every Christmas, a mixture of adventure, darkness and muppet monsters, Jim Henson's Labyrinth is a master piece that both Gaz and Dange enjoyed, and Dange isnt a big fan of Bowie, but this is something he enjoyed. The boys go back to 1991 and the start of a new comedy Sitcom starring Arnold J Rimmer as the head of a leisure centre..that's right Chris Barries lesser remembered character Gordon Brittas. Over 5 seasons, 4 years and our 200th show is here. This week we cover one of the most loved 80s movies E.T from 1982. What are the boys feelings on the film? Including all the segments from Podpickers to Bad Dad Joke Corner, it's all here as a massive thank you to our Insanics and Dangerheads.

1993 had some amazing music, from Haddaway, to 2 Unlimited to the big hitters Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Meat Loaf, 93 was Danges music awakening and Gaz was loving Runaway Train. The boys cover some iconic tracks so tune in a have a ruddy good time.

Ah sequels are a tricky business, some are good and some are bad but Gaz and Dange both actually enjoy the 1989 Ghostbusters II release, but they don't always agree on certain scenes but they ain't afraid of no ghosts.

This episode we have waited 4 years and 5 seasons to bring you, one of our most favourite movies ever, the 1984 classic The Ghostbusters. Travolta, Cage, Woo the 97 action Sci fi action film, it had it all and the boys dive back in time to remember how they felt about this, Dange gets to speak about his mid to late 90s love of Cage movies and Gaz has some good things to say about this gem of a movie as well.

In 1988 another Aussie soap hit the shores of the UK, Home & Away, it hit hard with its real life storylines, where kids learnt not from school or your parents but from a Soap. With many storylines and characters it was impossible to cover everything but we gave it a go.

If you were a child in the early 80s UK, then there's no way you missed this wholesome gem aimed at children who were a little different from the rest. So settle in, reattach a leg and spin your head the right way round as you listen to the boys review this lost classic.

Back in the 80s a game show came along called Family Fortunes that became a favourite of families across the country. From Bob Monkhouse to Les Dennis, the boys reminisce about the show and memories of the time.

Ooh er, it's one of the greatest, if not the greatest, medical dramas of all time up for the TIDRP treatment this week. The boys are thrilled and ready to spill their guts, but there's no Dr Greene to put them back together this time. It's possibly their longest chat ever, so tell your loved ones you'll be late and get ready for a long shift centred around Cook County General Hospital!

In this show, Dange picks his 12 best Whitney songs and the boys discuss and review the songs to see if they agree or not, along with all the other fun that can be jammed packed into a 2 hour show.
