The Ignorance is Strength Podcast

This is our first singles party episode of the podcast.  Roy, Grace, Dianne, Monica, and Bao join us this week to discuss the single life.  They examine their own dating habits and preferences, as well as their pasts and what has led them to being single now.  This is a fun one with a lot of different perspectives.

Kid Finish drops in to discuss their brand new, full-length, self-titled album.  They share a little bit about their history and backstory, as well some insight about the touring life and the ever-changing music industry as a whole.  We even play a few of their new songs for you to check out.  Their new album is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, all other major platforms.

Coraly, a young and motivated aspiring personal trainer, drops in to discuss the evolution of women in fitness and weightlifting.  She also invites listeners to join her for her fitness challenge and check out her fitness and nutrition guides.

This is, perhaps, our most important episode yet.  Though we often times joke around a lot on the podcast and talk nonsense, Mary joins us to change the tone a bit, tell her story, and hopefully help someone listening.  Thank you, Mary, for your bravery and for speaking up as a survivor of abuse.

Marissa is a veteran in the world of expanded learning with a unique point of view in regards to higher education.  She joins us to discuss after school programs, college, music, and more.  She and I also go in depth about the sudden implosion of a highly touted non-profit that we both worked for, as well as the fallout from that.  It gets a bit heated.

Bernardo Hernandez of Dreams Bridal joins us this week to talk about his humble beginnings in El Monte, CA, his experience in the trash business, and his ultimate (and somewhat unexpected) transition into the world of designing dresses for weddings and quinceañeras with his partner in Las Vegas, Enrique Montes, "The King of Fashion."
