Well, Jesus had a friend who walked with Him for three years and then turned Him over to the authorities to be crucified. The good news is that was God's plan for the salvation of man's sins. God used a man who's  heart was against Christ for His glory.

We become his children by faith. This is your security in God. Your faith brought you into the family and you will never be taken out.
