In the final sermon of our Philippians series, we explore Philippians 4. In this chapter, we read some of Paul's most well-known writings, and we read his final exhortations to pursue unity and humility. We also read the wonderful reminder Paul gives us that Christ is near to us and that He will strengthen us for every trial and situation.

In today's sermon, we look at Paul's call to the Philippians to avoid false teachings and doctrines. Paul encouraged the Philippians to instead focus single-mindedly on pursuing Christ and sanctification. Paul reminded the Philippians that they serve the risen Savior, the One who reigns over Heaven and Earth and because of that, they have every reason to rejoice.

We see Paul discuss the importance of humility in the Christian life, and he cites Christ's humility as the model for believers to emulate in their own lives. In this sermon, we begin studying Paul's letter to the believers in Philippi. Though Paul wrote this letter from prison, he was rejoicing in his trials. In chapter 1, we explore how Paul began the letter by encouraging the Philippian believers to seek unity amongst themselves and to lead lives worthy of the Gospel of Christ.

We look at Jonah's furious response to God's mercy towards Nineveh, and how Jonah's anger causes him to spiral further into irrationality. Despite Jonah's fury and irrationality, God responds calmly and forces Jonah to change his perspective.

In today's sermon, we explore Jonah 3. We see how Jonah remains unchanged, despite his ordeal in the belly of the fish, and is only half-heartedly committed to obeying God's command. Though Jonah is stubborn and not committed to the task he has been given, God still works mightily in Nineveh.

In this sermon, we explore Jonah's prayer in chapter 2 of Jonah. We look at how Jonah was brought providentially to be in the belly of the fish, how he responded to this grace, and how all of these things were used by God to accomplish His will.
