Vision Sunday invites us into Psalm 1, and life with God that’s happier, stronger, and fruitful.

We begin 2026 by slowing down and seeking God together. Psalm 1 gives us a vision of deep discipleship rooted in God’s Word. Before strategy and striving, we pray.

Matthew 2 shows us two kings, two kingdoms, and a choice we still face today. Where fear, power, and control collide with humility and trust, the question is simple: which king will you hope in?

When we run from God, it’s always conscious, costly, and crazy. But the storm He sends is not to pay us back—it’s to bring us back. Stop running and return to Jesus, our greater Jonah and perfect substitute.
