June 19th, 1972 was a magic night for Led Zeppelin. They played Seattle and just blew the doors off the place. We hear the Ocean almost a year before it was released, Black Country Woman 3 years early, and a rapturous Whole Lotta Love with a billion medleys. AWESOME

We listen to more of Led Zeppelin's awesome June 30 1980 show in Frankfurt. This week we hear Trampled Underfoot, Stairway, and Whole Lotta Love (w/ Frankfurt Special). Only a week away from their last show ever. This is a good one.

We hear a wonderful remaster of June 30, 1980, Led Zeppelin in Frankfurt. Liriodendron did the remaster and brought the dry (and slow) sbd to life. We hear In The Evening, maybe the best live Achilles, and a great cover of Money with Phil Carson on bass. This show sparkles.

We hear a June 4, 2022 show in Queens, NY by Robert Plant & Alison Krauss on their Raise The Roof tour. Great band. Great harmonies. Great singers. Great songs. Well recorded and fun. We hear Levee, Quattro, Gone, Gone, Gone, and Searching for My Love. Great show.

By request I feature Kansas in Long Beach on New Years Eve, 1977. This is a Mike Millard Master recording of the original lineup at the peak of their megapopularity. I play Point of Know Return, Carry On My... & Dust In The Wind. Fantastic performance.

We hear Led Zeppelin's penultimate 1972 performance, Dec. 22 at the Alexandra Palace, London. This is their biggest British tour and we hear Dancing Days, Whole Lotta Love, IS & Heartbreaker. A transition period from stars to Gods.

Another dip into Jan 26 1969 and the upgraded source. A legendary show proves itself. We hear Communication Breakdown, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, and How Many More Times (w/ some Yardbirds tunes). Amazing.

We hear songs from Sept. 13, 1992 in Copenhagen, of Warren Zevon on his solo tour from which Learning to Flinch would spring. I play gorgeous renditions of Mr. Bad Example, French Inhaler, and Indifference of Heaven. Erudite and super tight. Enjoy.

We hear a nice upgrade to Jan 26, 1969, the legendary Boston Tea Party gig that lasted 4 hours. We hear a wild band with a frenetic Jimmy Page, winning over the Boston Crowd. A Legendary show which sounds even better now.

We hear The Cult back in their gothier days on Nov. 15, 1985 in Glasgow, broadcast by Radio Clyde. We hear Love, Rain and She Sells Sanctuary. This is right before Rick Rubin made them more rock.

Oct 16, 1999 at the Worcester Centrum we hear Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes play a rousing set, joined by Aerosmith's Joe Perry. Amazing band. Amazing set. Amazing guitarists. Enjoy.

We hear Led Zeppelin playing the Midwest Rock Festival in Wisconsin on July 25, 1969. It's a wonderful open air recording with airplanes adding to the ambiance. We hear four songs from their hour long set. Fun fun fun!

What a show! Radiohead @ Bonnaroo June 17, 2006 is insanely good. We hear 4 songs from their epic 28 song set. Nude, Lucky, You & Whose Army? and Everything In Its Right Place. Insanely good.

We listen to Led Zeppelin playing Hannover DE June 24, 1980 and Jimmy Page's fingers are nimble! We hear Nobody's Fault, All My Love (excellent solo), Trampled Underfoot and a regal SIBLY. The audience recording is lively and dynamic. Jimmy's firing on all cylinders here.

We hear an awesome master recording of David Bowie in Cleveland on Nov. 25, 1972 supporting Ziggy Stardust. Mick Ronson and band are in great form and the sound is amazing. A great one. I play Ziggy, Life on Mars & Suffragette City. Not to be missed.

We listen to an improved source for 9/11/71 which is when Led Zeppelin played Rochester, NY. This is a great show from a time when the band was a force of nature. We hear Whole Lotta Love (with killer SLIDE solo in the medleys) and Thank You with organ solo. You'll love this.

We hear 4 songs from Joe Walsh's July 18, 1981 show at the LA Forum, as recorded by Mike Millard. A great set of classic tunes from the prolific Joe Walsh. A great mellow night with many hits.

We listen to a master recording of Led Zeppelin in Charlotte, NC on June 9, 1972. It's a great peak Zep show. We hear the entire acoustic set along with Celebration Day, and Communication Breakdown.

We finish up our visit with 3/21/75 and Dario Romero's wonderful remaster. I play Rain Song, In My Time, and No Quarter. Jonesy slays in all. One of the best 75 shows. Truly great.

We hear the dearly missed David Bowie on his Reality tour, at the Greek Theatre April 22, 2004. He played all the hits and a healthy dose of new stuff, too. Of course this show is amazing.

A magical night in Seattle by Led Zeppelin on March 21, 1975. We hear a Dario Romero remaster of the awesome soundboard recording. We have '73 vibes in a '75 show. A great one.

We finish up our visit to July 15, 1973 and hear No Quarter and Dazed & Confused from the upgraded 1st gen soundboard. Great show. Great band. Great stuff.

We hear a fantastic recording of The Who on Dec 12 1979 in Pittsburgh. I play Substitute, The Punk Meets The Godfather, Sister Disco, and I'm London. A very powerful show.

We hear a sweet Mike Millard capture of Fleetwood Mac on the 3rd night of a 3 night run at the LA Forum on Dec 6 1979 in support of their album Tusk. We hear What Makes You Think You're The One, Tusk, and Second Hand News. Great sound. Great performance. Great band.

We hear brand new upgrades of Led Zeppelin Buffalo NY July 15 1973. Both the audience and soundboard sources sound better as we hear Misty Mountain, SIBLY, Rain Song, and a frantic Heartbreaker. Awesome show.
