I want to thank Carl from Hawaii for sending me the request for a collard greens recipe. This Collard Green Gratin is a wonderful way to prepare collard greens. A simple bechamel sauce with cheese (compound-mornay sauce) and nutmeg is the binder for this dish. Some toasted breadcrumbs add a crunchy texture on top.
