We've talked about the many ways that God speaks to us.  Now, we wrap up the series looking at two barriers to hearing God that we all have and how to break them down.

Discernment is the process of knowing what it is true.  With so many competing voices calling for our attention it is critical for us to know how to discern the truth.

The sacrifice of Christ ushers in a new reality for those who choose to follow him.  

Jesus said that his sheep hear his voice and know him.  We will never hear his voice if we don't know him or if we aren't ever still enough to listen.

We limit the voice of God through our expectations of what it means to hear Him.  But, our lives lived in a community of faith allow us to hear and speak His words of life through each other.

If the "prosperity gospel" is heretical and unbiblical, then does that mean we're supposed to be poor? Is it true that wealthy people won't go to Heaven or that money is the root of all evil? Join Scott and Mike as they discuss whether or not God really wants us to be poor.

Does God want us to be healthy and wealthy?  Is He just waiting for us to get it right so He can bless us?  So, does suffering mean we got it wrong?  Join Scott and Mike as they take on the false view often called the "Prosperity Gospel" and ask, "Is that actually in the Bible?"

On this communion focused Sunday we remember that because of Christ's sacrifice for us we are accepted into a familial relationship with the God who hears us.
