Is this phrase Biblical? Does this mantra obligate or compel God to grant a  person what they are requesting? What was/is the purpose of the blood? Does pleading the blood give a person some sort of "turbo boost" in their prayer life? How many baptisms are there in scripture? What is the significance of water baptism and does it save us? This episode will discuss what baptism means and which one saves us.

This is the 5th point in the 5 points of Calvinism. Theologians teach that this doctrine means that who God saves, he will give them the ability to remain faithful to him throughout their life as a believer. Although our faith will be tested mightily, in the end, we will endure. Some call this eternal security.

This is the 4th point in the 5 points of Calvinism. There are those that teach that Irresistible Grace is the doctrine that teaches God saves some against their will. Is that what is meant when theologians use the phrase, Irresistible Grace?

It is very important that we define and understand these characteristics of God and how they apply to us as human beings. Each one is explained from God's perspective in this episode.

This is the third point in the five points of Calvinism (Created by the opponents of John Calvin). Limited Atonement is the teaching that Christ only died for the elect or chosen before the foundation of the world and not everyone that will ever live.

This is the second letter in the acrostic "TULIP"; dealing with the five point of Calvinism - also commonly called the Doctrines of Grace. As an fyi, John Calvin (1509-1564) did not come with these five points. They were invented after his death.

Was there a difference in the requirements for saints in the Old Testament vs those in the New Testament regarding salvation and/or justification? How were OT saints saved if they could not believe in Christ since he had not come and died during their lives? (Originally recorded March 22nd, 2017).

Does sanctification mean one can be sinless? Is sanctification something God does alone, or does the believer participate? How is sanctification different from justification? Is it progressive - can we increase in sanctification?

What did Jesus mean when He told Nicodemus, "You must be born again". Does the new birth precede faith, or is it the other way around?

Why did God choose Israel over the other existing nations during that time in Biblical history? Was there something more attractive about them that compelled God to choose them as His elect people? Has God abandoned them due to their persistent disobedience and replaced them with the Church? Does Israel figure into future events and the end of time?

The Holy Spirit is often caricatured as something that makes someone do strange things in a worship service. Is the Holy Spirit a force, or something we can catch? Or is the Holy Spirit a ghost or a feeling that comes over us when we are happy and then leaves? The Bible provides the answers we need. (Originally recorded April 7th, 2017).

This belief system was developed in the late 4th and early 5th centuries of Church history. It was invented by a monk by the name of Pelagius - contemporary and an opponent of Augustine. He taught that the sin of Adam and Eve did not affect the rest of the human race. In other words, man was not born with a sinful nature.

There are I would imagine many that believe suicide is a one-way ticket to hell even for a Christian. Can suicide actually void salvation? Is it that powerful? Tune in to find out.

Did you know that what you speak about is what is in your heart? With that knowledge that should give us all pause. What is your speech like? If one is not taming their tongue, all others need to beware. That person's mouth is set on fire of hell!

What should be our attitude toward believers who fall into sin? Should we shun them or try to help them? What if they refuse to repent of their sin after they have been lovingly confronted about it? Do we they cut them off and have nothing to do with them or do we appeal to them in hopes that they will feel ashamed of what they have done?

We hear people say "Don't judge me or only God can judge me!" There are those that even say the Bible declares for us not to judge. Is that reasoning true? What did Jesus have to say regarding judging others?

The Word of God is the exclusive truth. It can never be relative, ever. If Jesus is not the only way to salvation, then He lied. Is anyone foolish enough to make that claim - that Jesus is not the only way to eternal life? Who are we to believe, the so-called pundits, new age gurus, mystics, and postmodernists of today, or should we cast our votes for the immutable Words of God? Everyone HAS to ma...

God has given man a free will to choose what he wants. But, when it comes to salvation, who chooses whom? Does man have the ability on his own to choose God and God chooses him? Or, does God have to choose whom He wants first and man chooses God? Is God proactive or reactive in choosing man for salvation?
