The Goal Circle

Well, it's the final regular season week for Super Netball and we had a cracker of a game in the Lightning v the Giants, but Luke and Nick discuss the bright futures for the Swifts and Fever despite heavy losses at home in their final games. 

The Super Netball season is cruising to a close, so Nick and Luke discuss the round 13 results, the Giants woes against a resurgent Firebirds squad, the balanced Lightning, the now white-hot (again) Vixens, and the surprising improvement of form from the Magpies.

While the Giants come back to assert their dominance with a gutsy win over a surging Vixens team, Luke and Nick discuss the bright futures of the gutted clubs and the Magpies continued GA struggles.

It's a late episode this week because Nick has been busy working on a theatre show! BUT we are here to talk about round 11 while round 12 currently roars over the course of the weekend. On this episode, Luke and Nick discuss the Lightning defensive turnaround, the Fever's future and the Magpies continued GA struggles. 

On this week's episode the Lightning struggle against the Vixens who are now almost a certainty to win the title. While Luke sadly ponders the possible reality of no finals netball for the Firebirds.

Luke and Nick are back in the studio with one another as the week break for Australian netball spawned a highly publicised infight that could see the competition break up in the future... also there was a solid round netball if you didn't know... ALSO a new team takes the top of the ladder! (Hint: it's in the title)

Luke and Nick try Facetiming the episode this week as Luke gets stuck in traffic. But that's beside the point, because the pair talk about how the ladder for the competition is a great point of reference as to where each team stands in the league. They also talk about promising Thunderbirds runs, Vixens buying into system netball, and the Lightning struggling with unorthodox play.

After a week off because of Nick's holiday, Luke and Nick jump back on the airwaves to discuss the superstar troubles of Collingwood, the surging Lightning and the Giants stopgap solutions for Kim Green's injury.

The FEVER WON A GAME! And Luke and Nick are ecstatic with the result as West Coast put their hearts on their sleeves after a disappointing opening weeks. After opening with the emotional game, the pair discuss the Kim Green injury, the Firebirds blowout and how great the Lightning v. Magpies game was.

It's RRRRRROUND FIVE and Luke and Nick worry if they're going to get sued but, MORE IMPORTANTLY, discuss how deadly the Sunshine Coast is, Dan Ryan's coaching prowess and how the Magpies are getting their balance back.

Nick and Luke discuss the GA issue the Magpies are still facing three weeks into the super netball comp, all while praising the war of attrition that was the Swifts v Vixens game!

Luke and Nick debate whether the Thunderbirds can be stopped in the fourth quarter, all while contemplating drastic changes for the Firebirds and then WILDLY speculating about whether the Giants win it all!

Round one of Suncorp Super Netball has BLASTED OFF and Nick and Luke are here to deliver 35 minutes of rousing analysis from the new teams and the old guard!
