Gee is running the show this week which means he’s going to use the first 10 minutes to talk about Armored Core 6 instead of the Summer 2023 season of anime. Thankfully Artemis is here to talk about a bunch of anime that nobody else watched.

Smoking cats aside, the number of shows we’re watching this season is starting to dwindle. Is it time to hit the backlog?

It's our 11th anniversary and we get a little nostalgic, daring to ask if anime is better or worse than it was in 2013. This might not be the best anime season to ask that question, but hey, we did find some things to watch!

We wrap up whatever shows from Winter 2023 survived to the end, but nothing else matters because BIRDIE WING IS BACK and that’s all I want to talk about.

Gee has taken control of the ship in time for Spring 2023 season preview. Every Weekly Shounen Jump adaptation and isekai this season has been thrown overboard to make more time for Gundam and Birdie Wing speculation.
