Back in 1982, Brian Slagel started a little upstart label called Metal Blade Records.   He started the whole shebang with Keel, Malice, Black'n'Blue, Ratt, The Mighty Metallica, and many others.   This week, Nik and Keefy dig deeply into this particular moment in the nascent days in American heavy metal history.

Here we are and that time has arrived for Thin Lizzy as it has for so many other artists in the 1970's. It's put up or shut up time. This is the time when the label is ready to walk away. Can Phil and the boys find something that brings all the boys to the yard?
