The Get Real Podcast: For All Things Reality TV

WHERE IS TAJ? He's stuck at the airport, funnily enough, which means Garrett and Elsa are left to battle their ADHD in order to produce a podcast. And this one is two weeks worth of content! We had the Love Island premiere and the Drag Race finale, as well as two amazing weeks of Big Brother and the Challenge. What could go wrong??

This is the craziest first week of Big Brother to have ever existed. And that might not be a good thing... Plus The Challenge USA is now in full swing, and we are hit with the penultimate challenge for RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7!

Finally!! We have some shows back on our screens! CBS's The Challenge USA is here with a lot of familiar faces for the team to root for! The new season of Big Brother has also hit, but can we all just agree that live episodes are the worst thing to ever happen to this show? Plus RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7. We are slaves to CBS.

Our Inbox show was met with mixed reviews this week as the crew watches Netflix's Snowflake Mountain. There was another mid acting challenge on Drag Race All Stars, and a new show that may be better than Pig Royalty?

A love themed episode! Cute! Along with our regularly scheduled RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 (very mixed reviews on that runway btw), we watched the all new Amazon Prime Video show, The One That Got Away and the fan favorite Married At First Sight. In reality there wasn't a lot of actual love in these shows...

We have a good show! Ghost Adventures, and we have OPINIONS! Also the new Jeff Lewis show Hollywood Houselift is.. a show... I guess. Plus Drag Race All Stars!!

For Taj's 21st (a week later) it's a drunk cast! We watched My Super Sweet 16 (to mixed reviews) and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. And this is the first week of our new segment: The Get Real Inbox, where we watched Real Housewives of Dubai! And Alissa Salzwedel joins us as a suprise!

After a week hiatus, the team is back with some reality recaps! Survivor finale aired, along with two new episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars! We added a new segment to our lineup, and watched Treehouse Masters for the Bucket List!

I liked this one, personally. Drag Race All Stars is back with an all winner season! It's so good, we love it. The penultimate episode of Survivor is here with a frontrunner going out in a big strategic play. Plus we watched the Netflix reboot of Queer Eye! Next week is the Survivor Finale and one of our hosts will be receiving a punishment!

We have a double Bucket List week! Along with Survivor (great episode by the way), we watch the original Queer Eye and the new Discovery+ show Love In The Jungle! Drag Race All Stars starts next week!

This is an extra special one! You've heard us blab about Pig Royalty nonstop for the past few weeks, but now we're talking shop with the Rihn Family from the show! Thank you so much Jody and Josh for chatting with us! Plus we've got the rise of Lindsay on Survivor. And to pair with our favorite show (Pig Royalty), we watched the worst show ever made for the Bucketlist, How Far is Tattoo Far.

In a Get Real first, we bring back a bucket list show to talk about the Pig Royalty season 2 finale. We love this show so much. Plus a double elimination on Survivor, and more surviving on The Island with Bear Grylls! And we're with Robert (Alissa's boyfriend, we talk about him a lot).

We have discovered the sleeper hit of reality TV: Pig Royalty. An amazing week on Survivor (but at what cost) and a somewhat standard reunion on Drag Race. Next week is the Finale!! Who will be crowned winner of Season 14?

Good vibes this week, but we had some serious discussions (surprising, I know). Lydia finally got her moment to shine on Survivor, we had ANOTHER NON-ELIM on Drag Race (curse you RuPaul Charles), and we talk Biggest Loser on the Bucket List. Did such an iconic show stand the test of time?

New shows, old shows-- we have everything this week. Survivor 42 has spoiled a big moment in their season, and queens are getting roasted on Drag Race. Plus our Bucket List review of the new TBS reality competition Rat In The Kitchen, which we honestly love.

This week was insane. So insane. A crazy tribal council on Survivor, a golden bar reveal on Drag Race, and the most unhinged moment to ever happen on the podcast. Plus we review Below Deck: Sailing Yacht! Did we like it? Did we hate it? Who knows?

Alissa (our favorite person) is back to talk about the reality TV sleeper hit Bridezillas. We stan Lydia, we stan Jonathan, and we are pretty sure Jen Shah is guilty. Plus we incorporated secret phrases into our episode this week! Does Taj really like slippery spaghetti?

The time has finally come! Survivor 42 premiere (what a coincidence that this is episode 42!), Snatch Games on Drag Race (I don't want to talk about it), Elsa finally gets to talk about a game show (she does want to talk about it), and the penultimate episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 2 (thank god it's almost over). Alissa returns next week!

Bucket List is back, and boy is this one a doozie! Garrett, Elsa, and Taj recap the pod dates for the second season of Love Is Blind. There are some strong opinions-- I'll leave it at that. The Amazing Race finale was also this week? Did Elsa have to follow through on her bet to get Phil Keoghan's name tattooed? Plus Drag Race and the first episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Reunion!...

Out second Survivor special! For season 42 we are doing a reverse draft and the stakes have never been higher!

A double finale! This week we had the Celebrity Big Brother finale (about time if you ask me) and the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City finale! But SLC is not over yet, as we have three more weeks of reunion to go! Plus the penultimate week of Amazing Race, and a fan favorite going home on Drag Race (she was robbed, I don't want to talk about it). The Bucket List is returning next week!

With no new episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Elsa is forced to talk about every sliver of loosely connected to reality tv news-adjacent bit she can find. Plus we have a new hated houseguest on Celebrity Big Brother, someone on Drag Race gets a villain edit, and Arun and Natalia are still somehow on The Amazing Race. Next week is the SLC finale!

In the penultimate week of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, we get a (scary) glimpse into Mary Cosby's church. Arun and Natalia get saved AGAIN, keeping Elsa's bet alive. Plus a shocking nomination on Celebrity Big Brother and a sad elimination on Drag Race.

New show alert! Celebrity Big Brother started this week and BOY are we being well fed by this show. By Lamar Odom specifically (thanks Lamar). Plus, we had a potentially life altering bet made for Amazing Race, a front runner's fall from grace on Drag Race, and the spiciest hot mic in Salt Lake City history.
