It has been too long! Sorry about the gap in episodes guys. This episode I sat down with Mike and Kale Hutchins (Kale Bale) to talk how Kale got started with us and we ended up talking more about Colorado. Great episode all around.!

I sat down with my good friend Tye to and talked about our do it yourself, first time, Over the Counter Elk hunt in Colorado. 

I sat down with both of my daughters to talk about their first deer. Getting our kids in the woods is a big part of what we do here at Muddy Water. I got to watch both my daughters harvest their first deer in the same year. 

This was from the last night at the lodge. I sat down with several of the guides to discuss our favorite hunts of the year. We appreciate everyone who came to see us this year. 

The Moose is back. We talked more about Alaska, his plane crash, and crane season coming to an end. 

40-50 mph winds can really throw things for a loop, and boy did it. We tried something and it did not go our way with these clients. But we definitely made up for it the next day. These clients are repeats and we sure love having them here. 

Marcus and the boys were in town for some weekday hunts. They are always a good time. We had some great topics to discuss. 

All kinds of good stuff in this episode. I was joined first by my oldest daughter and extra bonus daughter who came to see me at the lodge. Mike and I had a great goose hunt. Then Sam the Man was in town so I had to get him on the podcast to talk to about his past hunts with us. I later called Sam to follow up on our great Sunday duck hunt. 

We sat down with a few guys from Mississippi that were here to duck hunt and crane hunt. They had a heck of a Pintail hunt! 

We talked about the unicorn goose (cross species) that was shot and also had a little fun roasting guide Gregg Ebner. 

Mike was back and we sat with the South Texas boys to continue our talk.

Some of our favorite clients are in town and boy, are we having a good time. I sat down with these wild men and we talked about years past and how the hunting season has been for them. 

I sat down with Mike and Owner of J.B. Thomas Handcrafter Calls, Josh Thomas, who is also the duck boss at Muddy Water Outfitters. We talk his hunting background, call making, and this tough duck season. 

I sat down with Jay Paul Krottinger and discussed his trapping career and how he got started. We also discussed his amazing mountain lion hunt. Mike and Beau later joined in. 

Mike and I sat down with the newest guide at Muddy Water Outfitters, Zack McMahen. We talked to Zack about his summer jobs in Alaska where he works for a fishing lodge and a moose lodge. 

I sit down with Mike, Josh, and Beau. We had several of our long time clients jump in and discuss our history with them. We hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving! 

I explain how I got into hunting and how the podcast got started. I also sit down with the owner of Muddy Water Outfitters - Mike Lambert and discuss how he ended up where he is today.
