Pastor Phil begins the series on the 10 Commandments.  He explains that we are called to worship God exclusively, shun idolatry constantly, and treasure Christ completely.

We all enjoy receiving forgiveness but how are we at giving it?  Pastor Phil explains that since Christians have received forgiveness from God, they must forgive others.  

Guest speaker Tony Lynn talks explains how the Holy Spirit synchronizes relationships in our lives, but are they are radical as what we see in Acts chapter 10?

Pastor Phil continues the One Another series.  If we believe in Jesus, we must encourage one another to follow Jesus.

Guest speaker, Tony Lynn walks through Galatians 5:19-26 and explains that, when we spiritually train with the Holy Spirit we can move past our personal best to become stronger in the Lord

Jesus gave his disciples a clear command to love one another.  Pastor Phil walks through John 13:34-35 and explains that since we are loved by Jesus, we must love one another.

From the first day that a rag-tag bag of wounded and broken people got together in south Windsor for a Saturday night Bible study, we have tried to put the gospel first because the gospel changes everything! It is of “first importance!” 1 Corinthians 15:1-2

John Piper says, “When sinners turn from their sin and come home to God, God is glad.” That’s what we see illustrated in this parable of the Prodigal Son. The wayward son comes back home where he belongs, and the father is glad.  

As our church faces significant changes, Pastor Phil preaches through our church's vision statement and reminds us what we need to focus on.

If God so loved us when we were enemies, now that he has made provision for us at such infinite cost, much more will he save us from the wrath of God and then see us through to the final goal of our glorious salvation!

Today we look into a wonderful Psalm of Asaph, Psalm 73. “Whom have I in heaven but you?      And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.  My flesh and my heart may fail,      but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Genesis 3 not only focuses attention on how sin gets a foothold in our lives, but it also focuses on how expensive it is, how painful and deadly it is. 

We need to explore further how pleasure can become a potent force in captivating the heart of a Christian. Pleasure can draw us away from God and prevent us from coming back to God, back home, where we belong.

We admire people like that who know what they want in life and will do whatever necessary to achieve their goals. But there's also a dark side to ambition. Sometimes our thirst for success can lead us away from our heavenly father.  

The story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15 yields an understanding into the human heart and why we are so prone to wander far from Home.

Ehud would likely never have been Israel's choice to deliver them from foreign oppression.  But he was God's choice.  Pastor Phil takes us on a journey through Judges chapter 3 and explains that God uses ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary plans.

In our own real worlds of real grief, and real loss, and in real death, and real evil, and real injustice, and real sin, the question is this: What is our hope for real hope for resurrection?

For us who find life in Jesus’ death, seeing Jesus’ humiliation teaches us what our sin deserves and what great lengths Jesus went to save us. At the same time, we need to see Satan’s hand at work here, so that we can recognize his accusations as those who continue to carry with faith the cross God gives to us. Today, on this Good Friday, we will look at the humiliation of the Lord Jesus.

How does the King of Heaven get to the cross? Matthew wants us to understand that Christ’s death is not accidental – it is calculated and strategic. It’s for the purpose of accomplishing God’s rescue mission – the redemption of His sinful people who deserve death. Jesus’ death and resurrection a statement that demands a response. Jesus died in the place of sinners, did Jesus die for you?

We live in a time where truth has become relative and people claim that there are multiple ways to God.  Pastor Phil walks through Jesus' claim to be the only way to God and asks the question, "Is Jesus' claim true?"

We’re surrounded by people. What does God expect of you in relation to them? What does God expect of you in relation to the people behind you in the drive through at Tim Hortons today? What does God expect of you in relation to your next-door neighbors? What do we owe each other? Am I My Brother’s Keeper?
