The Garden is a church for skeptics and saints.  It's a church where your bartender could get baptized, where broken marriages are restored, and the last person you'd see in church might be lit on fire by the hope of the Gospel.  The Garden is a church that's not bashful about truth but enthusiastic about rich theology so that Christians young and old might be fully equipped. We long to see the whole West Valley renewed by the power and beauty of Jesus.

Are You A Failure? 31.08.2025

Ever run back to the “old nets” when life gets unclear? The epilogue of John crashes onto a Galilean shoreline with failure, a miracle catch, and a charcoal fire. Jesus—alive, personal, and in total command—feeds worn-out disciples, restores a shattered Peter, and re-commissions them to shepherd His people. 🍞🐟 This isn’t nostalgia; it’s new creation, where obedience brings abundance, shame meets...

Usable For God 25.08.2025

🎬 Christopher Nolan can weave together complex stories… but no story compares to the crucifixion. In John 19, we see rulers, soldiers, and enemies all trying to maneuver Jesus like pawns. Yet in reality, Jesus is orchestrating every moment — even using their schemes to accomplish His saving plan. Here’s the truth: everyone will be used by God. The only question is how. 👉 You can be a pawn in His...

Death By Love 18.08.2025

Death by Love: 3 Last Words that Set You Free At the cross, Jesus spoke only a handful of words. Each one cost Him everything. Each one gives us life. 1. “Woman, behold your son.” → Jesus protects His people. Even in His agony, He establishes a community of care. 2. “I thirst.” → Jesus satisfies. The Passover Lamb shed His blood so our restless souls could be quenched forever. 3. “It is finished.”...

It's A Mistake to Minimize Jesus 11.08.2025

🚨 Minimizing Jesus is a mistake. Too often, we shrink Jesus down to something manageable, tame, and safe. But in John 18–19, Jesus refuses to be minimized. He is not a victim in the Garden — He is the Alpha and Omega, in complete control, even as He walks toward the cross. He commands soldiers to the ground with a word, directs the course of history, and willingly trades His life for the guilty,...

5 Prayers Feared In Hell 04.08.2025

What if hell fears your prayers more than your preaching? Before the cross, Jesus didn’t rally troops or call down fire, He prayed. And the prayer He prayed was so weighty, so powerful, so eternity-shaking that we’re still living in its ripple effects. In this message, we dive into John 17 , where we overhear Jesus’ intimate conversation with the Father, a prayer that echoes through hell and histo...

Power In Opposition 29.07.2025

Have you ever been handed a mission that felt way beyond you? Whether you're a parent, teacher, student, or soldier. The Christian life isn’t soft. It’s war. And Jesus didn’t leave you unarmed. 💣🛡️ In this message from John 16, we unpack what it means to follow Jesus when the cost is real. From the disciples' future martyrdom to your current pressure at work, school, or home, Jesus knew...

Abiding in Christ 21.07.2025

Abide or wither. There is no middle. In the final hours before His crucifixion, Jesus didn’t rally an army, He gave His disciples a vine metaphor. 🌿 Why? Because abiding in Him would be the only way they’d survive, thrive, and bear real fruit. In this message from John 15, we unpack the beauty and cost of abiding in Christ: ✂️ Expect pruning because God is more committed to your holiness than you...

Jesus Is The Only Way 15.07.2025

Trapped. Cornered. No way out. That’s how life feels sometimes, like the walls are closing in and there’s no escape. 💥 But Jesus says something wild: There’s not NO way… there’s a NARROW way. In John 14, we meet a Savior who doesn't just promise to rescue us eventually, but walks with us now offering hope in an evil world, help through the Holy Spirit, and a clear path to the Father. This is...

Cringe Cliches that Christians Say 09.07.2025

🚪“God opened the door”… or did He? 👀 We’ve all said things that sound spiritual — “I felt peace about it,” “I love Jesus, just not the church,” or the ever-popular “believe in yourself.” But what if Jesus Himself came to challenge those exact phrases? 💥 On the night before His death, Jesus taught truths that flipped every feel-good cliché upside down. In this message from the Upper Room, we unp...

5 Insights From The Last Supper 01.07.2025

Jesus knew Judas would betray Him and He washed his feet anyway. In this raw and radical moment before the cross, Jesus shows us what divine love looks like: kneeling, serving, forgiving. The Last Supper isn’t just a historical event. It’s a window into the heart of our Savior and a mirror for our own lives. In this message, we unpack five powerful insights from that night: sin shouldn’t surprise...

Jesus Predicts His Death 23.06.2025

The world came looking for Jesus. And in His final public words, He revealed a hard truth... GLORY COMES THROUGH DEATH ! In this stirring conclusion to Jesus' public ministry, we see the Gentiles drawing near, the Savior preparing for the cross, and the Father speaking audibly from heaven. Jesus doesn’t offer easy belief or comfortable religion. He offers Himself! Glorified through suffering,...

JESUS: Hated By The System. Needed By The World. 16.06.2025

Jesus wasn’t a mild-mannered motivational speaker. He was and still is a threat to everything dark, fake, and dead. The religious elite plotted to kill Him. The crowds couldn’t stay away. And the movement He started… still hasn't stopped. In this bold and disruptive teaching, we see Jesus draw lines in the sand, lines that demand a response. He’s the Lamb of God, not just worthy of worship bu...

You Can’t Stay Neutral 09.06.2025

You’re at the table, just trying to enjoy the night, and then someone brings up that topic. You can’t dodge it. You either speak up or stay silent. But either way, you’ve chosen a side. That’s what Jesus does. He doesn’t give us room for neutrality. In this message, we see Him worshiped with scandalous generosity, targeted by a dark and violent system, and celebrated by the masses who don’t fully...

Don’t Be Accidentally Used by God 03.06.2025

You can be close to religion and still miss God! That’s the sobering story of Caiaphas, the high priest who schemed to kill Jesus and unknowingly prophesied the gospel. He had power, platform, and spiritual language… but no real surrender. This message digs deep into the distortion of truth, the danger of passivity, and the sovereignty of a God who can even use rebellion to fulfill redemption. But...

7 Lessons From Jesus' Showdown With Death 28.05.2025

What if the worst thing that ever happened to you wasn’t the end, but the beginning of something bigger? In John 11, Jesus doesn’t just attend a funeral, He hijacks it. He weeps, He rages, and then He calls a dead man out of the grave. This isn’t just a story about Lazarus. It’s a declaration of war against death itself. In this powerful message, we explore how Jesus bends darkness to serve His pu...

Shepherd With Wounds 19.05.2025

He doesn’t just lead from the front, He laid down His life for the flock. In John 10, Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd. Not the safe shepherd. Not the distant one. The Good Shepherd, who knows your name, nurtures your soul, and bleeds for your redemption. He doesn’t run when wolves come. He stands in your place. He’s not like the selfish leaders Ezekiel condemned. He doesn’t exploit the sheep...

Are You Spiritually Blind? 14.05.2025

Blind Eyes. Mud in the Face. A Whole New Life. A man born blind is suddenly healed with spit and dirt... seriously. But the real scandal isn’t the miracle. It’s what happens after. The healed man is dragged into interrogation, abandoned by his parents, and harassed by religious leaders, all because he won’t deny the one thing he knows: “I was blind, and now I see.” This isn’t just his story. It’s...

Jesus: Lord Or Lunatic? 06.05.2025

Our world is drowning in darkness, spiritual confusion, empty ideologies, and hollow promises of freedom that only enslave. But into that darkness, Jesus steps forward and declares: “I am the Light of the World.” He’s not just a good teacher. Not just a healer. He’s the eternal God, the “I AM” who existed before Abraham, the One who came not to condemn but to rescue. In a culture spiraling into ch...

The Darkness Won't Win 30.04.2025

The empire paved over His tomb. The elites plotted to silence His name. Even His own brothers doubted Him. But no matter how fierce the darkness raged, it couldn’t snuff out the Light. In this message from John 7, we confront a world still trying to bury the influence of Jesus, and we see why it never works. The Kingdom advances not by human power, but by a risen King who still walks through walls...

Your Failure ≠ Your Future 22.04.2025

What if the worst thing you’ve done isn’t the end of your story, but the beginning of God’s redemption? Peter didn’t just fall, he denied Jesus in His darkest hour. And yet, Jesus met him not with shame, but breakfast. Not with a lecture, but a calling. In this raw, hope-filled message, we explore what happens when Jesus steps into our failure, not to rub it in, but to rewrite our future. Because...

Convenience or Conviction? 15.04.2025

What do you do when Jesus says something offensive? In John 6, He doesn’t tone it down, He dials it up. “Eat my flesh, drink my blood.” The crowd wanted a miracle worker. A vending machine for blessings. But Jesus gives them a gut-punch of truth: You don’t need bread. you need Me. It’s a dividing line between fans and followers. Between craving comfort and choosing conviction. This message isn’t s...

Jesus Walks On Water 08.04.2025

You're not God—and that's a relief. In a stormy sea, surrounded by darkness and uncertainty, the disciples look up to see Jesus walking on water. They're terrified—until He speaks the words that still change everything: “It is I”. Literally, “I AM”. In that moment, fear meets identity. Power meets weakness. The great “I Am” steps into their boat—and the chaos obeys. This message is...

The Bread 31.03.2025

What if Jesus isn’t just here to give you what you want—but to change what you want entirely? In John 6, Jesus feeds a massive crowd with five loaves and two fish, but their response reveals a deeper problem. They want His power, not His presence. They crave the gift, not the Giver. This message confronts the subtle ways we chase Jesus for what He can do rather than who He is—and calls us back to...

Proof is Not the Problem 24.03.2025

What if your issue with Jesus isn’t doubt—but pride? In John 5, Jesus makes a bold claim: the problem isn’t a lack of evidence, it’s an unwillingness to surrender. God has already made His case—through miracles, through Scripture, through the voice of the Father Himself. But many still refuse to come to Him… not because they can’t, but because they won’t. This message cuts through the noise and ex...

Re-Planting The Garden Church 17.03.2025

Church isn’t a spectator sport. Following Jesus isn’t about sitting on the sidelines—it’s about stepping into the mission. In Matthew 28, Jesus gives His disciples a clear command: Go. Make disciples. Baptize. Teach. This isn’t just a task for pastors, leaders, or church planters—it’s the call for every believer. As The Garden moves into a new building, we’re not just changing locations—we’re re-p...
