What did a Roman flogging look like? Why was Jesus handed over in the first place? Who was really at the praetorium when Jesus was in front of Pilate? Cale continues to look at the biblical roots of the rosary by looking at two of the ‘sorrowful mysteries’ – the scourging at the pillar and the crowning of thorns.
