The Dutch Hall with Pete Van Dyk

Long time friend of the show, Brandon MacIntosh, makes his return to the show after a year away in Australia and comes back to tell us what the world is like.  We also talk sports and fathers day.  The band kicks ass!

Pete finds himself at war with a long time listener and a bunch of high school kids.  To one he enters an old joke battle, with the other he tells the community where they hide their weed.  Super fun!

Pete gives up on a few things that the younger generation are into, but decides to give Google home a try.  And the Jesse Murphy Trio auditions for the role of the Greatest Band in Canadian Late Night History.

We talk evolution with a real expert from Mexico and butcher a Pearl Jam song.  Not our best, but still fun as heck.

Pete's show gets shut down by the county and Pete has to face the consequences of his stupidity.  We also race turtles and find out who the listeners can bang on our show.

Tractor thoughts from Michael, a public service announcement from our bartender and Charters buys a weird egg from Costco and we try to pay tribute to those socks we've lost.

Our very own Cheese Lady trusts Pete and the Dutch Hall crew to help her find love in the first ever Dutch Hall Dating Game.  Enjoy

Band leader, Mike Bouw performs a heroic act for his cousin Peter, so Pete invites in NHL and Dutch Hall alumni, Ryan VandenBussche to repay him because he knows how much he likes hockey.

We are super stoked to have Crown the Lion return after a five year hiatus from our show to premiere their new single and comedians Doug Koning and Tim Nicholson come in to discuss the challenges of stand up comedy in Canada.

We find out the secret to Shazma's success and share it with the Dutch Hall universe.  Also we dig into what people on the show think about each other.

Pete lets the pressures of being the host of Canada's Only Late Night Talk Show get to him and finally has to apologize for his behaviour.

We have the greatest band in Canadian late night history, the Nocturnal Emissions, all together for the first time in a long time.  They nail some Pearl Jam, and talk about the future of the show.  

Pete tells the story of how he and his director, Tyler Shazma, performed stand-up comedy at the memorial for their friend, to a crowd of people who were not happy about it.  Also, we add more clarity to the bombshell dropped at the end of last week's show.

Pete changed his face forever, but wait until you hear the story! And finally, Dave Charters gets what's coming to him. Oh yeah! And the biggest announcement in LFTDH history.

Part 2 of last weeks exciting show.    

We start a game of Survivor with the models from the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit calendar.  Dave misses 2 in a row and the cheese lady is still up for the dating game.

We welcome back one of our favourite guests back to the show, 2 time Grey Cup Champion, Shane Bergman, from the Calgary Stampeders.  We also play the Newlywed game with guys from the band and their ladies.

Pete fulfills a dream he had since he entered the workforce...Burning every bridge he had to get back to the security full time employment.  It sure is fun.  If you worked with Pete in the past, he may have some bad things to say about you.

We maintain our terrible tradition of betting on who is going to die this year.  Yes it's tasteless and morbid, but it's always so fun.

We have to find a last minute guest and find a dandy.  And we need to clear up that Charters does NOT eat people.

We accomplish a great deal in this episode, we set one goal for Paul, hire a new director find out more about Tyler Shazma and hear Tinder tales from the Tickler.

We celebrate the birthday of our bartender by playing the Wheel of Paul.  We have a real live audience of shareholders, a new sweet set and our trusted wheel.  Enjoy.

We come off Van Dyk hockey training camp and mail in a hell of a show.  Pete does jokes that bombed in the city, the band is great and we name the MVP of the training camp.
