The Dutch Hall with Pete Van Dyk

A bunch of comics come back from our show in Nixon, Ontario to do a podcast where we talk how often a man should have sex, tons of stuff about stand-up comedy and the occaisional burn on another comic to make ourselves feel better.  Joe Botelho, AJ Bate, James McVicker and Dylan Scott, are our guests.  Rick from Woodstock is our super fan on drums.  Enjoy.

We start our 5th season with our regular gang plus super fan and spare bartender Jamie Barham and talk about how Dave screwed us over last week, Mike's big news and how to throw a great adult Christmas party

We celebrate the end of our 4th season by inviting in another Super Fan, Jen Husco and a comedian who is also an excellent drummer, Steve Giordat to the hall to talk about addiction, comedy and everything in between.  

We come off a successful road show and keep the good times rolling with a new drum kit and Super Fan, Laurie Ball in Studio.  We talk future tours, death pool and the new Super Fan Challenge.

Boy what a fun night!  We invite in a staple of Norfolk County music, the Shoeshine Boys, to come in and do a show.  We also have in a super fan who brought us cheese and Yves Van Dyk introduces his brother Kees.

The Dutch Hall welcome the front man from King Cashew, Jay Preston to talk about his path into music, trying to balance art and commerce and we need to discuss the sexual misconduct of Mike Bouw.

We pay tribute to Oxford county by welcoming back one of its native sons, Tyler Shazma, to the podcast.   We talk comedy, city living vs country living and the pleasure of burning a couch.

Is the world getting dumber? Are we doomed intellectually? These are some of the things we did into with our Scientific Correspondent, Tom Bowen. We also welcome Braden Decooman back from Morocco to talk about his travels. And in light of the recent news of Kevin Spacey coming out, we speculate on the sexuality of a bunch of famous people.

The Dutch Hall invites expecting first time father, Justin Gayle and his child hating comic friend, Bret Measor to the show to learn from experienced pros.  We also discuss going to a video format, introduce a new sponsor and teach you how to properly take a dump in the woods.

The Dutch Hall pays tributes to two great Canadians that we lost this week.  We talk about if it's OK for a man to cry discuss important research and play a game to see how many old ladies we'd sleep with.

We Celebrate our fourth Birthday show with another wheel show to signify the disappointment of Pete's birthday.  Tige Wright is our guest as we talk about the sexual harassment of powerful baby boomers, test Paul's geography and get Pete drunk.

Pete's wife, Jane, is celebrating her birthday on Podcast night, so we invite in a bunch of her friends to celebrate the wonders of Jane Van Dyk.  What better way to do it than with the Wheel of Jane.

We were suppose to talk about what it means to be a free person, which we did but mostly talked about the knife fight on Mike's farm, Pete's perm and weird facts about Hugh Hefner.  Jeff Klunder joins the Nocturnal Emissions

We celebrate doing this crazy thing for 200 Thursdays!  The band is stacked, the bartender is upgraded, and there is a gosh darn wheel!  Thanks to everyone who has helped make this show what it has been.  Let's keep doing it.
